thanks very mush for you cooperation could you help me to modeling the following: Lateral loading was applied with a 1000 kN MTS-hydraulic actuator. Lateral loading was applied to the specimens in several steps under displacement-control mode throughout the test. Each loading step consisted of two identical displacement cycles in increments of ±2 mm up to 10 mm. what are the differences about what you do in your video. kindly if you can give me your advise. best regards

Hello, thanks for this video, i have some questions: 1- why you 've chosen concrete damaged plasticity instead of ductile damage ? 2- how did you get all these values, have you done mathematical calculations (plasticity values and damage values) ? 3- I'm working on a structure where stresses do not exceed yield stress, do I have to use plasticity properties or elastic properties will be quite enough? 4- I was told that even if I do not exceed yield stress, I must use plasticity properties to have a real behavior, however i must enter plasticity values, but I don't know how to get them. Thanks again

Hello, i have a question regarding the material parameters you have used. I can see that you used parameters for the CDP model from Jankowiak and Lowdygowski(2005) paper. However, those parameters were specifically determined for the B50 class of concrete. And here you have used a different class of concrete altogether. Did you compare your results with any experiment or published paper? If yes, then are your results matching those?? Please reply, if possible, thank you

manju soniya I think you can do it by change the Amplitude (time :displacement) like this (0:0,1:1,2:0,3:1,4:2,5:0,6:1,7:2,8:4....) and you continue whatever you want
