That happened to me for my prom I hated the dress and still sad I wasn't allowed to get one I wanted and had to go with the one my mom liked. Also she spent most my money on my little sister on a very expensive dress she wanted made the day all about her pisses me off to this day.

The 1st dress he chose for her is NOT for her. It doesn’t go with her skin color or personality at all. The blue one looked beautiful on her skin tone but still no. The lavender one brought out her confidence. It’s gorgeous. I wish the dress would’ve been a little darker colored so it could bring out her skin tone a bit more but just how she walked out with it and how she felt confident was perfect!! Never change Emily! I wish I would’ve had your confidence at 14. Keep standing up for yourself🫶🏼👏🏼

I’m sorry, but Javi pissed me the fuck off first of all he wasn’t listening to this girl‘s opinion the dress that she picked out in the beginning was really cute and it went with her theme. I feel like he doesn’t understand what the word theme means because clearly he didn’t understand that they were using the colors and the way the movie Rapunzel looks in the quinceanera. Also, I hated the fact that he kept bringing up the fact that she models and that he even told her that he would take her out of the next modeling show if she doesn’t go with his ideas, or that when you model you have to go with whatever they give you no shit when you model you put on clothes you show them off and then you go backstage and change out into another outfit. You’re not forced to buy the clothes all you’re doing showing them off. Another thing that I really fucking disliked was that he kept calling her confused and disoriented. She’s not confused nor disoriented she knows what she wants what color she wants what she likes and what she doesn’t also her parents have no backbone. I would never let anybody anybody talk to my kid like that, and her father only spoke up a couple times and then he has the audacity to bring up the fact that when the dad said imagine a band or mariachi behind her with the dress, he says oh well isn’t it about her or is it about the dress weren’t you just saying that it isn’t about her???
