Modeling a 'Mega'Bench w/ Sandbox and Solid Tools

Ғылым және технология

Join Eric for this mega challenge as he models the biggest, and coolest, bench he's ever seen - literally called, 'Megabench' (you can't make this stuff up!).
Credit to the designers: Hapa Collaborative.
See the bench for yourself at the 'Foot of Lonsdale Plaza' in the Shipyards, North Vancouver, BC.

Cool technique! Wasn't aware of the sandbox "from contours" tool! Question: why not use the intersect function from solid tools?

I agree... I think you could have skipped the red box step by using the Intersect solid tool... but, cool video either way.

@@donrushton Thanks both for the tip. I actually don't use solid tools very often and must have overlooked that! Always looking to learn myself.
