I want to tell you how much I appreciate the work you put into the voiceover work. Your speaking really helps me learn. Not everybody can look at something and tell where it’s set, when it’s set, what kinds of locos and rolling stock are used, or what materials they’re moving around, especially being from the USA.

As ever, thanks for the commentary and explanation of the layouts featured: it really helps. Your back and knees will thank the boy for reducing the need to bend down when filming the layouts, and he's getting rather good at filming.

A lovely cross section of the hobby. As a Continental, I was especially charmed by the HO layout running that tiny box locomotive.

Top video once again James. double thumbs up, one for the content and the other for the commentary! I mentioned before that I do a lot of youtube watching when I am modelling, and the fact you announce the layouts means I can watch the ones I am interested in and ignore the others!! Also the podcast is top draw!

Lovely video. I always enjoy these - even if I’ve already been! On you point about foreign layouts, many people aren’t well versed in foreign trains, so they’d not know what trains were what.

Thanks Sophie, I get your point about foreign layouts but isn’t that the best way to learn? Before I looked into American railroads all their diesels looked the same to me, I now at least know how to spot a dash 8 😆 and even with British layouts you get those that have pre-grouping locos or Irish rail and I’m not too familiar with them but they are great to learn.
