Hi window girl, nice to see You! This model in the old Video was looking better before. Many girls and women had hairstyles like that in the 70/80ies. And they looked so great. We were young and loved our girls. But today I saw the shape of this models face and I think long hair suits her better.

I think you mean without clippers? This is a show platform demo selling Centrix scissors. Centrix was a big name in popularly priced scissors in the 80's. This was not about her choice but showing off scissors in a dramatic way so people would buy them. Models need to agree to a major style change. Many of the platform artists of the time were slicing and throwing hair evrywhere. This guy is quite restrained and his stationary blade control is good in his scissor over comb.

I'm not sure what you're responding to, but you definitely sound like a pro! My description of the video was mainly based on the finished look. I don't necessarily feel he was being too drastic, but the model looked like she was worried ;-)

recall when frau went to fashion show with friend and with little coaxing she volunteered to be a haircut model. Said was nervous sitting on stage getting the cut but really liked result as did i . Very much similar cut with shaved nape mid ear bob, she wears dangle earrings cut emphasized these nicely to compliment cut

The Barber is very professional and expert but I could not u n derstand why he did not use straight razor at back to give a perfect and smooth touch which can definitely enhance the beauty of this cut.

@@haarminnaar what I mean is he's clearly a stylist trained in a cosmetology school and not a barber from a barber school... Two sides of the same coin, but two distinctly different sides! The training is entirely different for each one : shaving versus skin care, nails, coloring, perms, massage, makeup... Different techniques for cutting hair from each side...

... And this is mostly how it should be done!!! No elevation for a blunt hairstyle, and cutting a horizontal style and horizontal sections, not vertical!!!... Personally, I would not have done slide cutting on her right side to layer it like that; I think it would have looked even better just plain blunt! And, bias cutting it would have left it fuller looking without any " hangers"... And I would have made the back even with The corner of her eyes... It would have been a better, more aesthetically pleasing look!!!…... aaaaaaahhhhhhh... But what do I know???...😸

@@haarminnaar they really do if they are done poorly or incorrectly which, unfortunately, they usually are; I thought given to where the lines lie in relation to the face and the head, and where the hair draws the viewer's eye to, never mind what we've already spoken about... Precision! My cosmetology teachers used to ask me how to do things that were related to those kind of haircuts... I was flattered, and thought it was a hoot 😸! For example, if you could have left the long side hanging when it's dried to chin length or lip length, but went for nose or cheekbone, thinking it would be less severe, however -turning out looking more lopsided then artistic...
