Chris does an OUTSTANDING job explaining installation. Well done. The only helpful hint I might offer (just completed installation) is to make sure that all of the nuts a FINGER TIGHTENED before connecting to the frame of the truck. I needed to push the parts together using a hammer and a block of wood in the wheel well so that the frame bolts lined up correctly with the truck frame. In fact, I suggest finger tighten and then 1/2 turn loose. Install took four hours including reassembling spare, heat shields and exhaust hangers removed prior to install. 2021 Chevy 3500 Duramax.

I just finished installing it. But the top heat shield doesn’t fit no more. The side one does.
I like those flange nuts a lot better then the lock washers.
All of that works on 2020 Silverado custom? Included the measurements?

We can confirm the hitch kit installed in this video, the GNRK1020, is compatible with 2020-2024 Chevrolet & GMC 2500 & 3500 Trucks (Excluding trucks with a CarbonPro bed). bwtrailerhitches.com/kits/gnrk1020 For a 2020 Chevy 1500 truck, the proper hitch kit would be the GNRK1019 (fits 2019-2024 Chevrolet & GMC 1500 Trucks - except 2019 Chevrolet LD & GMC Limited & trucks with a CarbonPro bed).
