Seans Note: Link to Mod: drive.google.com/file/d/1_m2ghq7LfJylyn9L_DfLRkrhaZ73O21A/view?usp=sharing Original Link for the mod has been taken down so I reuploaded my own one to keep the mod alive for people who want to play it, it comes with only what you need for the mod and my save so to play the mod please follow this tutorial below: So I am going to send you a guide now, its the one I use for all the older mods www.mediafire.com/file/wt762hl9aww0d5n/Project64+1.6.rar/file (You need this downloaded, the reason you need this mod is because this mod comes with the video plugin file needed to run any Project 64 1.6 No Mercy Mod like ECW Barely Legal) Secondly you need the actual ECW Barely Legal Download and Winrar or 7zip to extract ECW Barely Legal and the link I have provided above I want you to open two tabs, one tab looking at your extracted ECW Barely Legal Folder and the other tab looking at your extracted WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game Folder The reason for having two tabs is we will be copying files from one folder to the other, I will send you detailed instructions for each part so part 2 will be next MediaFire WWF Legends 2.1 - Base Game WWF Legends 2.1 - Base Game You now should have two tabs looking at your two folders. In the ECW Folder I want you to go into The Save Folder and find a file named "WWF No Mercy.fla" I want you to copy the "WWF No Mercy.fla" file and paste in the WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game Save Folder To find that Folder you go WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Save When you paste that file into the Save Folder, you will be asked to overwrite the previous file and you click Yes You are looking at ECW Folder on one tab, you will see a file named "Project 64.cht" it is usually beside Project 64.exe I want you to copy that "Project 64.cht" file in the ECW Folder You will paste that file into the Project 64 Folder in WWF Legends 2.1 Folder To reach that folder you go WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6 and you will be asked to overwrite the file once more, you click Yes! In the WWF Legends 2.1 Folder you will see a Folder named Rom, I want you to use this rom: drive.google.com/file/d/1j2i2Jihbuq3HIEk7mwDbvvNFYuiNZWRe/view?usp=sharing and place it in there To reach that Folder you go WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Roms In your WWF Legends 2.1 Folder you will see a folder called Plugins. Inside of that folder there is a file named "hires_texture" I want you to delete that folder from the WWF Legends 2.1 Plugin Folder I want you to look at your ECW Folder, there is a Folder named Plugins and inside that folder is a folder called "hires_texture" I want you to copy that folder You will paste that folder into the Plugin Folder in the WWF Legends Folder To reach the Plugins Folder, you go WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Plugins This will take some time as the files are transferred, once they have been transferred close the ECW Folder Tab as we will not need it anymore, we are halfway done I want you to start Project 64 in the Legends Folder, you will click Options at the top and then Settings. You will be brought to a menu with 8 little tabs, you must do the following: Click the Options Tab (Tick Boxes 1 and 3) (Untick Boxes 2 and 4) This is the hard part you must click the Directories Tab, you will see 5 pathways and you must set them to the correct folders in your WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game Folder For example the first says Plugin Directory = You must set that to your Plugin Folder = WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Plugin Rom Directory = WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Rom Native Saves Directory = WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Save Saved States Directory = WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Save Screenshot Directory = WWF Legends 2.1 Base Game/Project 64 1.6/Screenshot Once these are all done click Ok and close Project 64 (The reason you close it is to allow settings to take shape) Start Project 64, click Options and then Settings. Find the Plugins Tab, it is beside Directories. You will see 3 options (Video/Audio/Input) Video is most important set it to: Mudlord's Rice Video Build 6 .1.4 Audio = Jabo's DirectSound 1.6 Input depends on your controller, use whatever inputs works for your controller. Xbox is usually = Jabo's DirectInput 7.1.6 while People who use PS4 select the n-rage input option. Once you have selected the 3 options, click Ok and close Project 64 again so settings will take effect Start Project 64, click Options and select Configure Graphics Options. Change anything I tell you to change, if I dont say change leave it alone Render Engine = Open GL Untick Hide Advanced Options Tick Enable SSE & Enable Fog Click Texture Enhancement Tab Super Important = Tick load hi-res textures if available box Then Click Ok Go into Options again and select Configure Controller Plugin (Here you will just select your buttons to use for playing once you are happy with your controller, click ok) If you have followed the parts correctly, the screen should go black before white text appears saying "Loading Hi-res Textures" or something similar Note: IF it does not work, it is possible you have an AMD or other graphics card that does not work with Open GL, my advice would be to use Direct X as your graphic engine And also set compatibility mode for Project 64 to Windows 7 or 8 (This can be done by right clicking on project 64 and going to properties) And run as administrator While it is loading, click System and then Cheats, make sure the boxes are ticked for Cheats and you should be to enjoy the mod then So I feel I have described everything clearly for you, I hope you are able to follow these instructions as I have used this guide to help hundreds of people already play these mods. @@TheeFrenchToast310 That would not work for a majority of these mods as to play these older ones, it involves swapping files in and out

I loved this game back in the day. Was pretty much only Game I played, these mods during that time blew my mind. And the fact we was able to mod our own arenas and port over characters from other mods into one super MODDED no Mercy.. ah Epic times.

I fucking love these videos, also it's good to hear your personal memories with how you got into these eras of wrestling

Man I remember having this mod man it was AWESOME I am like you when it comes to games like the ECW Acclaim games an WCW ps1 games I have a soft spot for them still play them every now an again. ECW Anarchy Rulz was to me a little of an upgrade from Attitude when it came to how easier it was to pull off moves. I remember when WCW Mayhem 2 was going to come out for the ps2 but unfortunately WWF had brought them out. The other mod for ECW is Blood an Guts from some vids I have saw it looks AMAZING. Awesome Vid

Yeah I cannot deny that I got some joy out of Hardcore Revolution & Anarchy Rulz, definitely was easier to pull off moves in Anarchy Rulz but I felt there was less because you had 1 or 2 moves plus the standard hiptoss/suplex/slam as your ready moves and it got old fast! Such a shame about WCW Mayhem 2 to think we could have had another excellent AKI game and it was taken from us! No idea whatever happened to Blood & Guts, I assume it is on the backburner for Randy's Backlash Mod

I have an ECW hardcore revolution game promo T shirt from when the game came out. I had a friend that worked at a game store and he got one for me. I was so stoked cuz I live in Northern California so ECW was never ever gunna come close enough for me to go to a live event

WWF no mercy is the best wrestling game ever but WWF Attitude is actually really ahead of it’s time it has commentary and the creator wrestler isn’t bad at all plus if you learn how to do the moves it’s really fun plus the bleeding is awesome and it drips off the wrestlers.

Hey Sean I followed your instructions & everything was going well until the Controller Configuration part the window for that is too small to configure everything for my PS4 controller and now another issue I have is every time I click on cheats on the bottom of the window it says CPU Paused

Too small to configure everything for your PS4 Controller? I don't really understand what you are saying, are you saying the actual window that pops up is too small? Or are you saying there aren't enouch buttons to map all your buttons of the PS4 Controller? If it is the second option, the N64 controller had less buttons than a PS4 Controller and that would be the reason why As for Cheats, yeah it pauses the game so you can use them, that is the point of the Cheat function. That's why you toggle the cheats once at the beginning after the textures have loaded and you never have to touch them again ^^

@@AlexCruz-ik8of Well what system you are playing on? Your phone? Because it's pretty big on the PC For the cheats you might have to grab a corner and extend the size of the box, then you will see all the cheats
