would it make a big difference if i used foam instead of silicone ? also did you buy one or two packs of the matcha greens ? i can only find a them sold by 40😭

Foam will still help with the hollowness of the keyboard for sure; I use foam for all my other keyboards. And I bought two packs of the switches :)

Can I ask where you get your key caps? I’m looking around and I’m terrified of purchasing key caps that won’t fit my akko green tea switches 😅

Keycaps: $22 Akko matcha switches: $17 I used about $5 worth of silicone mold maker ($20 for a 20oz set) So keyboard + mods = $84 And then there’s the price of the two types of lube I used which is about $30 total but it’s going to last me forever so I wouldn’t really include that in the breakdown.

Yes it is hot swap and can support three or 5 pin switches
The silicone is over half the price of the keyboard, but it was nice addition...

The silicone is more of a “if you have it it’s a nice option” and you can always use something cheaper like packaging foam or drawer liners!

@@CoolRiceBunnies Funny you said that, because I used the foam that came in the box of my XBOX Series X... Literally did it tonight with the tape mod, and threw on some Kailh Burnt Oranges I never used yet, and it is AMAZING! Thanks!
