Banished is such a classic. I keep coming back to it for another run every now and then. You're absolutely right that none of the whole swarm of banished-inspired games has managed to reproduce the feeling this game brought.

I love Banished, so I could see us doing more in the future. I'm currently uploading a Farthest Frontier series, which is a newer game that tries to improve upon Banished. It does a fairly decent job, but that series is just to spotlight and examine what that game is all about. We do also have some other short series with Village building indie games like Foundation or Ostriv, all to be revisited as they continue to be developed. It's been hard to find the time to make a lot of recordings, so sadly we can't do all the games, all the time. Have to pick and choose somewhat...

I think you're on the ancient version on that mod. In the comments on the steam page version 8 is linked and there's even a version 9 on the guy's reddit...

I'm just using what's prominent on the Steam workshop. I will say that this version is working just fine, so there wont be any issues. Thanks for the heads up on the new version, I'm curious to see what that entails.

@@KRX_ I think actually megamod version 9 is somehow like twice the size of the version on the Steam workshop (2.3 gigs?). It's also split up into like 6 parts in the Mods Menu... I do think there's just even more content buildings and professions in the latest
