    divergence of Electric field is zero , if have a bit of basic knowledge of EM waves , you must be knowing , charge density is assumed zero and wave is assumed to be propagating in source free region before deriving Helmholtz eqns. He is not supposed to tell thay basic in waveguide chapter . Better focus on your concepts rather telling him something you morons . 😂😂

    Is there something wrong with the 2 derived equations in the expansion of the Del Cross H ( or E) equation? I.e. Maxwells first two equations. Shouldn't you have: | ax ay az | | d/dx d/dy d/dz | | Hx Hy Hz | which should expand to have (considering the Y component): [d/dx(Hz) - d/dz(Hx)]ay = j*w*e*Ey Why is yours inverted in both derivations for both Del cross H and E?
