I like that a lot of Hugh's jokes are quite dark but then he randomly throws in one which is utterly silly. Catches me unawares and has me laughing my socks off every time 😁

Hugh carries this show on his back and has done ever since Frankie left, they were the goated duo.
I love how genuinely enthusiastic Angela gets about other people's jokes. There's a woman who loves her job, and she's damn good at it too.

I was in the virtual audience for the second episode and there was one by Hugh, the theme was things you wouldn’t hear in an exam I think and Hugh said something like “are songs of folklore necessary? Yes or hey nonny nonny no”

I think they did something like that on Whose Line is It anyway? And so some jokes are reused or recycled later on by the actors, and other times when an episode had a problem they switch in outtakes, or they do an episode of just outtakes.

The thing is after 19 series with a lot of repeated scenes we'd like to see topics, it would be surprising if different comedians didn't think up the same joke someone else had said before. They're not all on the same episodes and won't remember every joke someone else said anyway. Its still funny to the audience anyway
I love how they walk up to the mike while already wearing mikes and then never bothering to use it.

That is EXACTLY what I thought when I first heard Angela call Ed out for joke stealing. Joke stealing has surprisingly occured a lot throughout this show. I'm not British, but have been in the country for 30 years, the first British humor I loved was Whose Line is IT Anyway, there was another one can't remember the same right now, and have been a super fan of Mock the Week ....not just they get me laughing. very loud (my daughter got used to me being loud at 2 am with this!) no matter how many times I watch the same bits, it always succeeds on lifting my spirits...another one that does it each & every time is the Russel Howard programs...thanks for uploading these @Platinum Patience

I'd like to see Glen Moore appear a lot more - he's consistently hilarious and clever. And I immensely appreciate the comic stylings of Dara himself. He's a brilliant host and emcee - funny and erudite, while never taking attention away from the panelists. They heap it on him, and he's adept at making the joke and returning tactfully to the panel. Since happening on this show a few months ago, I've been bingeing it incessantly. It's absolutely tops.
