@@MxMattyB Nah, I'm French and Parisian and this joke made me laugh. I love dark humor and even we Parisians know that a lot of us are just unbearable. edit: important note, if anything it would be xenophobia not racism. Racism comes from a group in a position of power and is directed towards a less powerful minority so the term simply could not apply here. So Matthew's quote is right "it's not racist if it's about the French!".

as it's the final episodes it was nice of James to do the callback to a joke of his from a previous episode whilst also shouting out Frankie Boyle and Ed Gamble.

Hilarious show this week. They were all in fine form! (And I love watching Nish's reactions to other comedians' jokes. You can tell it's a good one when he's keeled over laughing. Such contagious joy!)

Im going to miss Milton's bizarre comments that catches everyone off guard! This show was unique in that it allowed so many varied comedians to simply riff off one another creating very unique directions of jokes

If I had known there was an online vote to SAVE MOCK THE WEEK I would have signed it (along with all my other personalities). It can't end. I am in Australia and I need Mock The Week on KZread (because we don't get it on TV) to exist. Please....fight to stay guys.

With everything happening the Tories would be hearing about their shortfalls too often for their liking. Its just the way the Right is handling the situation (after being in leadership for the last 12 years and creating the mess)

How can anyone end this greatness? We will have to binge watch all the episodes from the rapidly aging past... But they will be eternally fresh... Thanks for the endless enjoyment 😘

Probably some suits saying "We've already got a topical panel show about the news and current events, why do we need another one?", not realising that the two have differing audiences. Plus, a lot of the focus is on the stand up elements, which does have something of a sell by date, so it's loses a lot of its repeat value because of that; even if dated material still has a nostalgic appeal to look back on, the stand up tends to be assembled into compilations a lot easier. And whilst I wasn't the biggest fan of him, I hope the finale has Frankie Boyle on for one last hurrah, if just to keep the old fans who liked him happy.

Beyond gutted Mock the Week is ending its still by far one of the only reasons to turn the TV on due to the rapport between everyone and the genuine brilliant humour, gonna miss waiting for new episodes and will be re watching all the previous series online! Thank you all for all the laughs xxx

I *think* I'm getting the tone right from James in this episode with the references, he does still indeed like Frankie and he's being genuine, right? because I know there are some comics James has been a little open about not being too crazy about them. it is a little harder to keep up with that kinda now since James ditched social media (why he's probably the smartest one of us all)

this is easily one of my favourite Brit comedy shows, I can't believe it's ending. Introduced me to many a fine comedian, including but not limited to Frankie Boyle, Ed Byrne, Milton Jones, James Acaster, David Mitchell, Andy Parsons, Hugh Dennis etc

Milton is in top form in this one. He's so good!

James Acaster "why would I buy other currencies, I've got a pound" is really funny to me, considering that was an actual argument used by the head of the economics department in my country to make people believe the dollar's price didn't matter.

I don't live in the U.K. and I'm going to miss this show,,, one of the best news shows on the internet

milton jones, absolute comedy genius... every time he is on this show he is a highlight.

Now laugh or your racist. It's lazy and frankly not funny. You can't tell me that was a laugh out loud moment for you. As for your example. It makes more sense if that's what he was referring to but then why not directly say the Mirror can't tell the difference? I don't appreciate the rhetoric that racists are white people as if white people hold a monopoly on racism because that in itself is racist 🤷‍♂
