Great video! I have just shared it with two Facebook pages related to cruises. I have tried to explain how MPC works but your video covers everything with images, which might help some folks better than words. Your video also went over the part that did not apply to me because my entry port was also my final destination.

This is also applicable to Transit visa?

I'm going from the US to Canada by air. As an inbound to Canadian customs, does Canada use this app? I'll also be returning to the US on a cruise ship. Will that work?

@@allseasonsvacationsllc Thank you for the quick response. I've downloaded the app just as you suggested. And I won't be traveling until next week. Can I enter information such as scan my passport and take my picture well before I begin travel? I don't see on the app if that can be done.

For some reason I did this after coming from Turks to FLL, no one asked for this after doing all this. They asked for my passport, took a pic of me and said have a good day 🤷🏽‍♀️.

You had to clear customs, so in FLL you probably did the old way and no one even realized.... Mostly needed in major airports Miami and Charlotte.

@@wandakeefer4386 oh ok. I kept looking around and I was wondering why no one else was stopping to scan the QRS code to download the app. I was assuming I was the only person that hadn’t done it. Then no one was handing over their phone. I was like….That’s weird. Glad I had it just incase. You never know. Great video by the way.

If you have Global entry, no.... Use that. Mostly this was designed for those who can't get global entry cuz it's so backed up.

Was not able to get the QR code entering ORD.

Can I use the app if I am an european citizen and I come from London to NY? Thank you

Noo, only Permanent Residents and U.S citizens can use MPC app, no one else as far as i know!!

If you are traveling with ESTA, you should be eligible to use MPC (www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/mobile-passport-control): "The MPC mobile app, is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian B1/B2 citizen visitors and returning Visa Waiver Program travelers with approved ESTA."

Maryann when you arrive into the USA first stop example Miami turn on your wifi and then will be able to complete the process of this to get the QR Code ..
