I'd rather spend an hour in an MRI machine than go into this environment! You deserve an ice cold beer after that one!

There has to be a better place to put these things. The more difficult it is to access something the less likely it is to get serviced.

I started wearing masks when I go under any house . My head would be so stopped up .

Wall mounted splits would be the best, not this ducted unit installed under the floor. Not the best use for it.

Why a ducted mini split air handler under a manufactured home..? Unbelievable

That is really poor kit selection for the particular job.

I prefer package units for trailers/mobile homes but the rare occasion we do mini splits it's not that ducted crap it's wall unit and run the line set out the wall and cover with line hide. Folks just being lazy with that garbage.

I'm guessing this is a job you wish you turned down before finding yourself halfway through the job.

Lol, "That's Lovely " ! I have to hand it to you Curtis, you definitely have more patience than I would for the situation you were in under that trailer with water still trapped in the unit.

Those really should be a floor, wall, or ceiling access. But then again trailer homes have never been built with maintenance in mind.

Curtis don’t keep your field piece guages with pressures in them. Mine blew up in the van from the heat

Have to say it, you have BALLS! I would NEVER crawl under a mobile home, in Georgia, just because of the snake skins you pull out of condensers!! I hope you carry extra clothes for when you wet yourself doing that 😂

Dam, been doing hvac 30 years and I’ve never seen anything like that in a mobile home. Ya I’ve been commercial for 20 years but dang man, I’m flabbergasted

My career was all commercial and a lot of time in140 degree heat on rooftop units. I would take that any day over crawling around in some of these places Curtis. You're a better man than me. Thanks for the videos!

Ohhhh it's one of those where the AC mini split system is in the belly pan buried inside the insulation. That's going to be an expensive fix for that customer because all of no more than what was cut away the entire belly pan slip and insulation will have to be replaced because now the vapor barrier has been broken.

Wth. I will do things that most guys won't because I am a smaller guy, but that...I don't know. I understand the designer wanted to sell as much usable floor space as possible but this is not the way to do it. Everything needs to be serviceable for all trades and SAFE to get to. Why is this not a thing? It's 2024.
