Radiographic positioning included in this video are the anteroposterior (AP) portable chest. *Discuss radiographic techniques using anatomic and projection terminology for the anteroposterior (AP) portable chest. *Apply patient positioning techniques for mobile chest radiographs. *List and identify the central ray location, image receptor (IR) size, marker placement, and image receptor placement. *Explain radiographic equipment manipulation for required radiographic examinations. *Describe procedural considerations for required radiographic examinations. *Discuss the relevance of pathology in radiographic procedures. *Explain the rationale for each projection. *Describe the positioning used to visualize anatomic structures.

    One trick of the trade is to get your patient to roll their shoulders forward. This will move the scapula off the lung fields in the same way it does for a PA. It has the added benefit of stopping the patient from leaning back when they take a big breath in. I have been called into the radiologist reporting room because they needed to clarify that the image was in face AP and not PA

    Is not cephalad? because caudad means you angle towards the feet.
