The early 2000 version of how hustlers hooked up with other hustlers in boxing would be the NBA Allstar games.

Boxing was huge during the 80’s because that was the era of the greats in my opinion. Plus, that was the era of the hustlers! No other era made money like the 80’s.

Gratitude for sharing. A lot of kingpins got fed time in the late 1980s and the lack of organization resulted in higher homicide rates in early 1990s. Dont get me wrong, the 1980s had high homicides rates however the peak was in the early 1990s. I saw the footage from that fight a few years ago and I swore Hagler outboxed Leonard. In the last 30 seconds of every round Leonard threw a flurry of punches and ended up winning that fight. I think Leonard came out of retirement for that Hagler fight. New York Freedie used to hang out with Ali. Them young dudes (YBI) from Deroit used be in Vegas for those Hitman Herns Fights. And like Frank Lucas Eddie Jackson and Courtney Brown went to that Ali vs Frazier fight. Eddie went to find a connect (plug) and he allegedly accomplished his mission. Queenpin Thelma Wright allegedly met a solid connect at a boxing match as well.

That’s EXACTLY how remember that fight. I thought Hagler won. But Sugar Ray’s late round flurries that was doing nothing-carried the day in the judges eyes.

Crazy! Hit him with that new drug law that carried a mandatory minimum of Life! I'll look for the link again and send it to you. Thanks
