Lyrics:
Son, they shook
'Cause ain't no such things as halfway crooks
Scared to death, scared to look, they shook
'Cause ain't no such things as halfway crooks
Scared to death, scared to look
Livin' the life that of diamonds and guns
There's numerous ways you can choose to earn funds
So some get shot, locked down, and turn nuns
Cowardly hearts and straight up shook ones, shook ones
He ain't a crook, son, he's just a shook one

Prodigy & Havoc had to go back to Queensbridge & rebuild themselves. Their fist label dropped them. They had to reinvent themselves to get another deal. Prodigy & Havoc knew they had to elevate, & be damn near untouchable. They cameback as the Infamous.
Listened to this album through the hardest times in my life. Music has power and this album, Daft Punk's Discovery, and Eagles have all helped push me through times I didnt think I ever would. Mobb Deep forever underrated

Can Literally Relate.
Probably one of if not the best hip hop beats ever released
One of the hardest songs ever
One.of the coldest beats ever made, one of the best hooks ever made
Shook One’s A Hood Classic. Salute Mobb Deep, Havoc & Prodigy. This song touches the soul. A soundtrack to the streets and my life. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of the few songs that gives me chills every time I listen to it, R.I.P. Prodigy 🕊
One of my fav tracks ever..
Prodigy’s rhyme scheme on this track is genius.

I’ve told people that west coast started gangsta rap but east coast perfected it! The darkest, gloomiest beats to match the hardcore and relatable lyrics, Wu-Tang and Mobb Deep knew how to take street life and put it to a beat.
Everyone says that beat is legendary, but for me it's legendary sequence of lyrics+beat, especially Prodigy's verse. R.I.P

That Havoc verse gives me chills. In fact. The entire song gives me chills😬😬😬
Don't know what gang life is like. I respect anyone who grew up in that environment. Listening to this while working out and when I'm down....motivates me to keep going. It's real music.
This will be legendary till the end of time. An absolute masterpiece

It's unbelievable how timeless this whole song is. The beat immediately resonates with whichever generation listens to it, and the lyrics hit just right each damn time.

Such a dark, almost melancholic beat on this one. You can really feel the emotion these guys are trying to convey.
