As a Switch controller this is one of the best options considering price. Shame it is bad for anything else. But hey, a good 55$ switch pro controller alternative, it doesn't really get much better than this.

Got one of these a week ago, and it is a really solid controller. I just wish it came in different colors like black-and-blue.

Got this controller a couple months ago. As i only play on Switch , most of the cons mentioned in the video are not very relevant. So i highly recommend it.

Man I love this controller. Using it for a few months now. It's a no-brainer for people who want Switch Pro Controller style input, like if you're into Gyro aiming and digital (non-analog) triggers, or just mostly game on a Switch. Like it has all the same features as the Switch Pro Controller, but higher quality components and somehow cheaper. Too many other 3rd party Switch controllers in this tier try to be "cross platform" and undercut the Switch mode. Popular options from 8bitdo or GuliKit for example ship analog triggers for the Xbox mode, meaning the triggers in Switch mode awkwardly have a threshold for when it's "pressed", which feels way worse than an actual digital switch. Or they'll have the wrong ABXY layout, or miss some Switch features like HD rumble. None of that's an issue with the Chitu HD.

Finally someone who appreciates the switch pro controller shell design. It's so freaking comfy but everyone tries to copy just the Xbox design. As for the gamepad itself. Yeah it's have great shell, buttons and dpad but it's not that usable on pc. There is a xinput mode btw. both for wired and wireless. Maybe you need to update firmware. And vibration is just bad. It works kinda like on the switch pro controller but it's not that precise (in Mario wander its can reproduce some segments of melody) and on full force it's just a noisy mess (scooter in Mario odyssey is good example)

How tall are you? Would be useful to know the size of your hands to know what you refer as "Medium to large hands"

for anyone trying to use this on pc i use the black 8 bitdo adapter and it works fine (when you connect it for the first time it may have some weird delay feeling bug but once you reconnect it once it goes away and i love it) been using it for quite sometime for rocket league mainly and its been awesome. i would just test run the controller the first time you connect it for that one issue then reconnect if you have the issue and youre golden (also have eyes on the vader 3 but not sure)

What's your favorite D-Pad on any of the pads you've tested? Like what feels the best to you? Also you gotta get like, a spreadsheet people can just look at and see all of the stuff you've reviewed and rated at once for cross-referencing purposes.

This controller and the Mobapad m6 hd/m6s are my to go. They are just too good for the price if you look in the right places lol😂

I have this controller and I feel that it's the best controller for the Switch. Mechanical d-pad and face buttons. Although you didn't like the HD rumble on it, I think it's as good as the Nintendo controller's. It's as good or better than the Nintendo Pro controller in every way which makes the Nintendo Pro Controller obsolete at it's $70 price tag. Edit: also, I got this over the m9 because the m9 doesn't have a mechanical dpad which is a step down in my opinion.

Gamer heaven what do you think about this statement "If i am looking for a pc controller nothing beats the xbox controller simply because it has the lowest latency (bluetooth). For wired G7 is good but i cant get anything beside xbox to connect seemingly. Microsoft has a patent on xbox controller wireless technology and no one will be able to beat them in their game." Did you review any bluetooth pc controller with better latency and no sudden drops?

it's an inherent problem with bluetooth. 16ms is average is about as good as it gets for bluetooth. to get better latency you really need rf/dongle controller. For that I recommend the Flydigi Vader 3 Pro. He also loves that controller.

@s3goku4 thank you. I tried the gamesir cyclone pro and while latency was good i did notice a drop in ms every once in a while. I also tested it and can confirm. Is it the same for flydigi?

Flydigi apex 4 comes with 1000hz adapter. It's probably among the fastest on the market.

You really had me on this until I found the bumpers were clicky, so many controllers think they can get away with this cheap pathetic copy of Xbox bumpers which already felt like a cheap dinky cost cut, ds4 ftw when it comes to bumpers, pls teach these oem odms we need membrane bumpers standard, at least for the dark souls crowd
