This is what you call an act of TRUE kindness. The kind that doesnt do it for any gain, at a time when no one is looking. A true gentlemen with a loving heart. Holding a love beyond all reason. That's what Mob represents.

This show catches me off guard everytime I watch it. This scene still makes me tear up because it highlights how little humanity I've experienced in my life. I feel less human than a fictional character.

One of the most romantic scenes in anime and their relationship isn't even real.

This scene motivates me a lot, the pieces flying to the sky from mob's hand is like our dreams, hopes future, love life, friends and time getting slipped by our hands while we are doing nothing but just sitting there and traumatized to see all that Suddenly as mob stands up and uses his psychic power and all that paper pieces starts coming back to in his hand, feels like our determination, mind, hard work and action working together to drag the success of our life along with dignity, happiness all the things we lost getting back in our hands

Idk, the scene is pretty fantastic on its own, but the music does elevate it even more for sure.

This was so beautiful and so many people have properly expressed the beauty and impact of this scene... I just love how even though Mob was probably crushed by when she told the truth to him, instead of turning away when her "friends" were calling her book and deeming her passion worthless and laughable, he showed her that her work has value, to show her how much he knows how important it is to her, to be brought back, recreated like a miracle from his noble and kind heart. I just love how people don't assume much of Mob, but when he lets them into his beautiful world of expression and compassion, their lives change completely.

Every fucking time. Whenever I think about this scene; or the music; or the dialogue; or the animation, I just start crying with happiness. Every fucking time.

probably my favorite episode ngl. its so different from the usual stuff but it feels so deeply personal and speaks so much about mobs character

I was expecting the usual still screenshot from the anime like what you see in normal anime OST videos, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the wonderful heartfelt scene accompanying it. Thank you for that. :>

To this day, the ending scene of Mob Psycho season 2 ep 1 is one of my favorite scenes in anime. I had the biggest smile watching it for the first time, and watching it again now, it still warms my heart

Sheikh Joy not only was it done beautifully, but there’s so many layers of valuable lessons to it. Actually being a friend and interested in them for them not cause of a typical Shōnen hero type trait or being popular but because of a genuine personality. Mob felt how important her writing was and she proceeded to help him after he expressed his feelings, finally accepting herself and her passion. After using his power as if they’re nothing they commonly accept each other for their real values. It’s so damn touching, I’ve never seen an anime do something so well.

@@xavion108 Its called true kindness. Mob didnt have to do that, any of that. And it wasnt to get the girl or drive any sort of bargain from it. It wasnt for any gain. Hell he had to embarrass himself but it didnt matter. Mob knew how much her writing meant to her and that was all the reason he needed. Mob is a true selfless hero, a real kind person. And those are the real heroes you never hear about, even in real life. The people who do good things when no one is looking, for no gain whatsoever. Those are the true heroes and why Mob is probably one of my favorite main characters for just this scene alone.

I'm really sad too. she was such an interesting, well written character, and I really wanted to see a relationship develop between them whether it was platonic or romantic. she does appear as a bg characer in s2 ep8, and she appears briefly in what will be s3, but it's seriously not enough. I love her :(
