Suge is saying the original deal was going to give Ruthless a cut off everything that Dre produced instead of just his Chronic album. @Wehaveshortshorts thats not what happened. Dre and eazy never sat down and do the deal themselves smh. You just made that up. Suge knew what the deal was. What happened was Dre setup eazy for the fake release. DR then tried to get distro but Ruthless sent out a cease and desist order along with a lawsuit. Sony was going to sign dr but the release was not valid. They shopped the Chronic to interscope who wanted it so Jimmy and jerry worked out a deal for the Chronic and his release. Suge was fully aware and knew they had to do it in order to get released. He really wasnt released as the chronic had to come out under Priority and Ruthless got their points. So it was like it wss still on Ruthless/Priority but it wouldnt say Ruthless. Thats why chronic is on Priority and Snoop doggystyle was with Atlantic. Eazy said he would release everyone except Above The law since he just signed them to a deal with Epic.
