Mo Pitney | Jimmy Bowen and Friends (S7/Ep79)

Mo Pitney knows country. His first release, aptly titled “Country,” opened in stellar fashion as the third most added song at radio and became his first Top 40 single. His corresponding first album, Behind This Guitar, charted in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and his sophomore album, Ain’t Lookin’ Back, shines further light on Pitney’s country poetry. (Filmed at the Troubadour Theatre in Nashville, TN. | Season Seven | Episode 79; original airdate October 2, 2023.)

Great seeing young men keeping traditional country alive and well. Please Don’t sell out like so many do. Get your own label and play the music with the one that brought you to the dance.

Good music. My only complaint is the banjo. Not surexwhat pickup they're using but it sounds horrible. The banjo player is really good, but the banjo otself shoul just be mic'd and not plugged in
