Sorry that happened to you. I had a cousin that was SA when she was 14 buy her Godfather that was a deacon at their church. They live in a small country town where SA is swept under the rug in the churches. They protect the SA abusers heavy in the country. Especially if he has a wife and kids. My cousin had to deal with the trauma of nothing being done when she finally said something at 16. She came out hard against her abuser when she was in her mid-20s after she had been married with kids of her own. This time it just wasn't just known between the 2 families and the bishop. This time she went to the internet. I had to help her have the strength to do it. Because of the very known dismissiveness from so many men, we were never able to get the so-called Deacon arrested. We couldn't get the women that came to her DM to make police statements. They specifically said they didn't want to deal with it because they didn't have a way to prove it and knew that no one would be on their side. We knew they were telling the truth because they were telling the same grooming stories in her DM. Nothing was done even though there were several rumors about him for YEARS! All he did was move a few cities over. And he is currently now a "pastor." 🤦🏾‍♀️ He was able to become a pastor because so many men didn't do anything. So much for protecting bw...... It's amazing that so many men are so disconnected from bw pain when it comes to SA. The lack of support that we get in every aspect of our lives has completely turned me off from dating all together. I turned down men regularly. You're pressed to find bm supporting bw. Even when a bw is right, they just won't say anything in the comment section before they outwardly support our show empathy. That alone tells me how these men will be in relationships. Very dismissive and emotionally voided. They just don't give a shiiiit. As long as they're getting sex I guess........

Thank you for saying that!! I was thinking the same thing. It seemed like he apologized then brought something up that wasn’t directly aligned to what Claudia was upset about. Claudia was upset that the 2 men on the show was chuckling during a serious segment….apologize and stand on the apology.

Claudia doesn't look happy and it shows. Claudia...I'm rooting for you! You have to learn how to put on a better 'Poker Face' -never let them see you sweat. You always do a phenomenal job discussing touch topics and holding your own when it comes to touting your opinion. Now, you just need to work on keeping your emotions at bay because once people sense your weak spot, they are always gonna go in for the kill. Armon did a good job at 'shaking the table', however, he reminds me too much of Funky and not in a good way...so far, it's still Dustin for me-he shakes the table too but in a much more intellectual and sensible way that still manages to be entertaining.

Thank you Claudia for speaking on SA. I was SA’ed in college and I came forward right away and reported MY DETAILS to a police officer and he told me that maybe I made a mistake and just regretted a decision and he sent me off on my way and didn’t take my statement. I spiraled after that and my life has never been the same. 😢 so I see why no one wants to come forward and because society has made it difficult to when it actually did happen to you. You’re judged immediately. Oan: I’m so very glad this week is over with this cast. Armon is Funky 2.0 and not in a good way. Al was off and I felt like this week I didn’t hear Claudia as much as I’d liked. Thursday she didn’t even give much of an opinion but just asked the other 2 hosts what they thought on their subjects. I’m gonna give this show another shot next week and see how it goes. This week was not it though. ❤ you Claudia. Get your bags girl and rest up!

Y’all commenting on Claudia’s energy - listen and use critical thinking. She legit commented at 31:35 saying she has felt uncomfortable with the SA conversations today and this week because it brought up past trauma for her. Also Al and Armon having little boy moments and tag teaming against her in certain topics and taking them lightly definitely rubbed her the wrong way. She’s also been filming all week with the other show so her energy is definitely going to be off. Y’all need to extend some grace to others from time to time - they’re not always going to be their usual self. We all go through emotions and stress. We’re humans.
