The Muong organize moth nights so that the Mo will bring the deceased's soul to heaven, ask the king of heaven for the soul to leave the body and ask the lingo to take wings to fly back to Muong Ma to reunite with their ancestors in eternity. Therefore, Mo Ma is also known by another name, Mo Go to Heaven.
Mo Ascension consists of 4 parts: part 1 - when the person dies, there are 11 "curves", including the mo about preparing things for the dead to "go" (1), the procession of mo (2), the funeral procession ( 3), dead urn (4), ark (5), bamboo urn (6), skein of life (7), trouser skein, coat skein (8), lamp scepter (9), singing urn (10) and projection (11). Part 2 - sending off the dead, there are 40 "that" (from "that" 12 to "that" 52) divided into 3 parts: sending off the dead, the way to heaven and back to Muong Ma or eternity. In the spiritual life of the Muong, eternity is not a place of leisure and leisure like in the place of Muong Troi, but a place to reunite with ancestors, have land to build a house, and have land for farming to live with strength. labor...
