In this video i am showing you how to upgrade the 2022 Mn99s model with 370 motor and single speed gearbox. You need the METAL AXLES before you do the conversion because i didn't know i tried to glue the old ones for the video the front stayed in Place but the rear failed. So i went back the next day and i Reupload the video the Right way. I have allready ordered the Portal Axles and everything that can be changed!!

Bonus points for the ninja turtle!! I ordered two of these motors, and two of the horizontal WPL arrangement ones. I dont have an MN but I do have nearly all of the WPL now... Looking for my sweet spot on several rigs, and I'm hoping these get me closer!! Otherwise I have to go brushless with reduction gearboxes... Much spendier... Thanks for the upload!

Nice! I ordered the same (or very similar) gearbox and motor, after installation the speed is very slow, it will not exceedd 2 mph? Could this be the gearing or something?

you need, metal driveshafts, axles metal too, and oil shocks. it's a completely different car. but i would recomed to put a brushless system and 2 speed gearbox because this was too slow.
Can the canopy be taken off ?

Yes they can there should be 4 screws what go through the body into the canopy and a clip ether side by the headrests
which side is positive and which one is negative on the 370 motor? Because my d99's receiver board caught fire

Too slow and heavy with that 370 motor and metal gear box and also with metal drive shaft.

crawling was never ment to go fast

@@XydteRC_SimRacing i know but it was too slow. I also install the same gearbox to my mn99s. Battery drain faster than standard motor and gearbox. But the crawling torque was better than stock.
