Kim Seung Jae (the original singer of this song) was a former member of duo group DEUX who died after his solo debut. He was killed by his own girlfriend who was a sasaeng at the hotel where they spent the night after his solo debut stage. His girlfriend was a medical student and had knowledge of a human body. She injected him 28 stimulants causing his death. But did you know what's more tragic? He did not obtain justice because his girlfriend was super rich, from a powerful family and had political connections. The case was rejected, she won the case and the girl completely ran away from it. She changed her entire face through plastic surgery, changed her name, her entire identity and now a famous doctor.

He's always hot, I'm pretty sure we all agree on that one, however curly hair + BTS... :s For some reason they all look extra hot whenever their hair is curly/wavy. Think of Hoseok, Tae, Jimin. Yoongi.. And I don't mention Joon and Jin cause I don't remember them having wavy hair so far, maybe they had though! I'm not sure why but it enhances their sex appeal for some reason. If this isn't my fave Jungkook's look is in the top 2 for sure.

Ikr, he just have this special charisma on stage that sucks me in and makes me replay his lines over and over again. Jk and Jimin also shine too. But since this song is obviously not made for 7 people the other 4 members couldn't sing/rap but they all did a wonderful job on the dance.

just to educate some armys: the original song which came out in 1995 is by kim sungjae, a 1st generation idol. this was his solo debut song. however after his first performance stage of this song, he was murdered in his hotel room, most believe by his girlfriend. if you look into the case, it's pretty obvious the culprit was his girlfriend, but because of her family's power and wealth, she was released from any jail sentencing and was said to be innocent. he would be 44 years old this year, imagine how proud he'd be to see how far kpop has gone. rip 😔.

Kim Seung Jae (the original singer of this song) was a former member of duo group DEUX who died after his solo debut. He was killed by his own girlfriend who was a sasaeng at the hotel where they spent the night after his solo debut stage. His girlfriend was a medical student and had knowledge of a human body. She injected him 28 stimulants causing his death. But did you know what's more tragic? He did not obtain justice because his girlfriend was super rich, from a powerful family and had political connections. The case was rejected, she won the case and the girl completely ran away from it. She changed her entire face through plastic surgery, changed her name, her entire identity and now a famous doctor.

This is a tribute to one of original and first generation kpop idol “kim sung jae” let’s appreciate the performance and how BTS did a great job to perform his song. Don’t argue things like how the hyung line looks like a back-up dancer or who looks better taehyung or jungkook and stop asking where is yoongi because in my opinion I think when BTS heard that they got this opportunity to pay tribute to Kim Sung Jae, BTS felt so much pressure not to ruin or messed up the performance. For sure “RESPECT” is all what inside of BTS’ mind at that time.

If you don't know the original singer (stated in the title) 'died' the day after he debuted with this song. But the majority of people believed it was his crazy ex girlfriend. If you want to know more about it just look up his name. It will tell you what happened. It's crazy 😔🙏
