smooth? meh. the camera movement maybe, but not the movement of the 3d model from Kaga. Its like her dance was filmed in under 30 fps...

@James Nicol jepp, that's somehow on a whole other level. Not that the shaders and texture resolution is gorgeous, but the movements from the model are better as well. Just the music style... Lets say I prefer natural voices.

If you want you can look at it this way: Akagi and Kaga are based on Kitsunes, Kitsunes are mhystical creatures, so the floating represents that mysthical aspect. (it's eases the mind a lot xD)

Drifts Drives Plays Well, technically, Kaga was a BB. She is basically the same person as CV Kaga, a younger self of sort, so she is the real Kaga.

Huh, the low fps, the fantasy-like physics, and the shading actually fit the song and the timeframe (in a way). It's refreshing to look at, really~

As well as the dancing the facial expressions is on point here. Thumbnail worthy indeed. The camera work is a big help. Kaga’s sleeves sometimes cover her face, but fortunately get out of the way when it’s the emphasis. Anyway, her sleeves have a magical quality to it which is the intention I think.

i've watched/listened to a lot of people's take on Tokio Funka , but this one , is by far the best , the camerawork is just flawless, everything is so fluid and smooth , I've had the song stuck in my head for three days now thanks to this MMD :)

Mesmerizing. The low fps emphasizes the moves beautifully. The clothing of Kaga is a match made in heaven with this dance, especially at times where theres a closeup and the sleeves covers the eyes at times, making it look so regal and sophisticated. This is stylisticly amazing, cant applaud you enough!

I mean what good 60fps would do if the image is too unrealistic while trying to be realistic. And Kaga (BB) here is not only trying to look realistic, it even has that "anime flow" going on her that also familiar for these eyes. And a funky music will lock you while the animation captivates you, you'll have a great time. I normally dislike MMDs but this is best one i've seen so far and i love every 5 minutes i spent on it.

I like how the character isn't at 60 fps but at like 20-40 fps, it feels like natural hand drawn anime lol. Very well done.

Yeah, it looks awful. "Anime framerate" doesn't work well with 3D models, specially if other parts of the scene don't match the framerate of the model, like in this case the background that is clearly rendered in 60fps.

@@candidate10 theres a few ways tbh, the longest way i've found by experimentation is to delete certain frames of the animation itself

Kaga stays out of the place a bit, but that was so refreshing visual that, i'm awestruck still. Great job.
