it’s supposed to be, it was created for Overeem cause he was knocking out his sparring partners. it’s supposed to have as much padding up front as a 16 oz while being light enough for mma

I've started training and sparring with the fight gloves. After accidently landing a few shots to my partners noses I've decided to go for more padding.

You should’ve never been allowed to fight with them to begin with, what was your coach smoking. You should always use the well padded gloves

@@olawaleaileru9495 we normally use regular 14oz Gloves. But Sometimes If we so combined techniques we Switch to mma gloves. All friendly sparring but IT was new to me so i didnt really understand how to use them correctly.

I use cleto Reyes for Muay Thai and the best ones that have the point of contact on the knuckles is Fairtex

I like the full fighting gloves

My Buddy and I spar in RDX fight gloves lmao

A few dudes at my gym use the small mma gloves lmao. Been popped a few times.

Yeah in boxing 16oz is the norm, they must be punching light otherwise it doesn’t matter if it’s 10oz, 10oz gloves in boxing are fight gloves lmao. They also have to worry about kicks and takedowns tho too.

Sparring with 6 oz gloves is absurd.

alot of people dont know 7-8 ounces is perfect for MMA sparring

Yall have pillow hands everyone who actually fights and has power has to use the 8 ounce and if your using 6 your sparring very light and taking all the pop off your punches. Only garbage sparring partners do other wise and those guys are trash majority of the time

The 3rd one is good cuz in a match u can do everything faster with those

Then that’s great as long as you’re able to control power which is amazing no need to change up what you’re doing but always go hard at least once a week to get a real feel for a fight just a suggestion not a expert at or anything I just do that cause we’ll wouldn’t you want to put your skills to the test every now and then? Edit:of course wear protection if you must!!

Where are you getting these 10 ounce MMA gloves from? They only make 8 ounce.
