Was a hella good fight and should have gotten Fight of the Night but Costa missed weight so it had to be at 205. But yeah he couldn't finish old Luke Rockhold and almost lost to him as well. Fight with Whittaker was pretty close and he gave him a close call with that spinning back kick. I'm thinking Strickland by decision though

Strickland has a very good jab while costa is litterly allergic for jabs, but I kinda see costa overpowering Strickland with explosiveness and hard kicks. Hard one to pick. Maybe Strickland gets costa tired later in the fight and start taking over with fast combinations

Not clear that costa grappling is good enough to make it interesting. Strickland will just piece him up most likely

@@kanethesevenfootmonster868true the jab did drop him but let’s be honest robs chin ain’t been the same since the 2 Romero fights and Izzy made it worse the first fight, he’s just good at movement and able to blitz in before he gets tagged as conor would say “a gust of wind and he does the chicken dance” 😂

Psychologically it's bad for Costa. He knows Strickland beat Izzy, but Izzy picked him apart. Not a good thing to know. And Costa isn't the strongest minded guy.

@@beastieking1 Well Dustin beat Justin before. He just got caught in the first round last time. And yes I apply MMA math, but only to stand up fighters, and use it as only one factor of many. But psychology is a big one.

Costa has dangerous striking power. But I think fighters know how to mitigate that power. I think Strickland will be able to midgate it.
