ALSO Taehyun said on Weverse that leading up their performance, there were a lot of complications including technical difficulties and last-minute choreography changes so they didn't have that much time to practice (I think he said only a week? I might be wrong) and they were super duper nervous about it. Finding out about that really shocked me tbh bc you wouldn't be able to tell at all from how well they performed. They really do deserve Rookie of the Year!!! Their professionalism as rookies is on another level.

Taehyunie also said the floor and their shoes were more slippery than they expected and after performing they asked each other if someone had gotten injured. Thankfully, no one did. They really managed it as professionals.

TXT only had one day to learn the dance break and a week to learn the shadow thing. Also, their were last-minute changes to choreography. That’s what you call professionalism and talent. Pure talent. They are definitely going to be big.

This literally looks nothing like BTS. I really don't get why people are still saying Big Hit is just trying to “replace” BTS because they’re going to the military. I remembering watching this performance at home during the award should and honestly I had no idea they debuted the very same year that's how skilled I thought they were and during quarantine I slowly learnt more and more and I am officially a MOA😭 I even ordered the album! My friend and I were watching the MMAs only for BTS, but we definitely wanted to support TXT of course (I consider myself a casual fan, because I didn't want to stan just because they were at the same company as BTS - as cute as I think their interactions have been ^^). So they were the only other performance I was looking forward to - and holy hell, this still blew me away. My friend and I were absolutely speechless. If I didn't know about them before, I would've never even realized they were a rookie group, because this is an incredible and almost ethereal performance to give even for groups that have been around for years. I had somewhat high expectations for them, more than other rookie groups, to be completely honest - just based on the talent they'd already shown they have, and the level of storytelling and pure EFFORT bighit artists tend to put into their performances - but this was better than I'd even imagined. And from what I'm seeing in the comments, they did this with very little time or space to rehearse? If this is the level they're performing at now, and under those conditions, I can't wait to see what comes next for them, or where they'll be in a few years. This is also the performance that convinced me to check them out beyond casual listening, and I am /this/ close to saying I'm a Moa. I'm looking forward to supporting them in all their future steps ^^

I'm an Army who came here cos I saw BTS reaction to them. And I can say TXT is hella talented but reading thru the comments I didn't see any rude comments like you mentioned. The only thing people are saying is that Bighit is doing well with BTS and TXT music storylines and that is true. Some even commented that TXT will be hella greater cos they talented. In case if I missed something, correct me cos it will be rude if they put TXT down yet to raise BTS and those saying one of the members gives jimin vibe might not mean to be rude.

Actually I am an ARMY but i really love TXT also even though i can't call myself MOA i love them and respect them as both artists and humans. I got to know TXT cuz of BTS i bet many of MOAs can relate to me at this point as they were interested in the 1st boyband under BigHit labels since BTS. Actually comparing artists happened in the past and will happen. If you remember BTS used to be compared with EXO when they debuted. Of course it is rude to compare artists especially kpop artists as they all are the most hardworking artists in the world of entertainment.But i think TXT is compared with ATEEZ more than BTS as ATEEZ debuted almost at the same time with TXT. All you gotta do is just breath and take it easy when you see such kinda comparisons just like ARMYs did at time

Kai is so handsome. Like he is wayyyyyy too young for me to be attracted TO him, but you just know he is going to knock people out when he reaches his final form (like... after puberty finishes)

Can’t believe a rookie group got almost 16min of performance time. I was honestly only expecting them to get like only 5-7mins worth. It was worth it though. The performance was amazing.

Zage yes they only debut in March so it hasn’t even been a year for them. That’s why I was shocked that they got nearly 16mins worth of performance time.

Yes, I am just watching this now.... Anyway, I became a MOA recently and have decided that... TXT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! JDKFKFJGKG. Honestly you cant really call them rookies after this performance, it really pulls you in and is very intriguing.

Kpop Forever yeah but hate isn’t always a bad thing since that’s what led bts to becoming even bigger because ppl saw the unfairness their were facing. Same with txt. All these toxic ateez fans always leaving comments in txt videos saying that ateez deserves ROTY. And txt doesn’t because they’re from bighit. They are going to be mad when txt gets super big in the future.

Well, I have to admit that this was so cool and intriguing to watch. The shadow part blew me away! Big props for Bighit for always coming up with the most unique ideas. Also txt, well, they are really good especially for being a rookie group. The coordination during the dance break was spot on. I was impressed

Y’all don’t forget that not only are they talented and amazing but they have an amazing personalities too which i think is great. You can be great at dancing but not show the same energy on stage and off stage but these boys show 100% energy, 100% love 100% everything, they’re giving us so many things and just being great people

Txt is the only kpop group that pulled me into kpop so deeply, their music is just so unique on what i would usually hear and they are just so perfect, i'm just sad because i only started to support them recently.

They are singing but with a playback so u can't hear their real singing well but I understand it's because it's hard to sing when dancing and jumping around

drawmaem oui they are. As others said, they have a backing track for stability and in case of a malfunction, but if you have a decent sense of pitch, you can hear that they’re also singing live bc their voices are not 100% in tune with the audio track
