Todd isn’t lying about Ichiro. His bp was something to see. He hit bombs on command and would hit the ball all over the field with power you wouldn’t expect. Dude made baseball easy.
No to the rules. Go back to 10 outs with a moneyball. This is way simpler. Who cares if it takes longer.

@@PatDK no they really don’t. It’s the Derby. It’s the one thing we have. Like the Dunk Contest. Big draw. Now you’re asking guys to basically play ball at 10x speed. That drains them. The other way guys can admire the smash and recover.

So you wouldn’t watch canseco, Big Mac, Arod, Holiday, Griffey, Ortiz, Fielder, Thome, and other retired players hit dingers? People would definitely watch. I pretty sure Canseco tours the country doing home run derbies. They had him on local tv trying to hit ball over the river.
