Needless to say one of my teams the Whitesox NEVER had Frank Thomas and Paul Konerko at the same time. My point is that their day job's are both 1st base. So say Frank's favored on defense by ALOT (or vice versa idk this rule made me a Cubs fan mostly). A playoff push then becomes imminent and soon of course. Frank then gets hurt oh geez. The big hurt man can take Paulie's spot as DH now yes he can. But it's 2 or 3 games until the playoffs man 😭. So what I'm saying is along with NOTHING being advantageous from the DH universal or otherwise. Neither is then the fielding whether 50/50 or not. Yeah Platoon's a great movie I'm sure (I just don't want to watch movies about where my step-dad and dad could have died). But for MLB defense sure so YOU BETTER CATCH THAT SHIT MF. I'm kidding but platooning 2 defenfers that's 100% true risky expensive stupid unproductive and unnecessary...until now in today's MLB 👊👶👊. Yup one day MLB probably 20 years or so from now will be AL but gone. He just said baba mama. AND WITH 20 YEARS OF WARNING TO BE IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT. So just get rid of it before it's too late 👊🤣👊.
