I love how at 3:25 the catcher turns to tag the runner sliding but then he realizes the runner isn’t there yet 😂

Vince might not be the greatest pitcher but god damn if he isn’t an amazing athlete.
0:45 pablo be laggin LOL
A few years back, there was a game in Texas at the Ballpark, the Rangers were up to bat, and the scoreboard announced that the Dallas Stars had won a playoff game or something. The visiting pitcher freaked out when the stadium erupted. I don't remember who won, but I remember that. Another time, the Rangers hit so many home runs that they ran out of fireworks.
That Ozuna one will never not be hilarious 😂
That last play was the best

2:25 - When your signal for slide looks the same as STOP!
This could be called, Shit happens sometimes. Somebody slipping is part of the game.
5:53 looked like he threw it with his off hand 😂
Fun and funny! 🤭 Thanks much! 💗
@3:15 Was taught to tag runner in that situation, but how was there an intent to continue? That turn at the end without moving toward second?
2:24 if that was me I would have of cried
Carlos Gomez slipping down the dugout stairs...it couldn't happen to a more deserving individual!!!

8:16 Was a blooper from audio and it was funny
Last one is amazing
At 3:10 look at the fans there all telling to tag him
At 3:23 he should've just known after the first fall to just leave it lol
9:29 I don’t even know what to say here, thats just goofy.
Just wanted to let you know that I proudly watch your vids with adblock on
Vinny Velo is a god damn athlete. He isn’t the best pitcher but he’s one of the athletic baseball players I have ever had the pleasure of rooting for.

3:07 is a heads up tag and a good call by the umpire. If the runner shows any intention to head towards 2nd then they forfeit any protection allowed by overrunning 1st.

7:42 is just in unfortunate hop but aybar should have made a better throw
Nice vid
Funny how Qualls with the marlins and the Phillies had 2 bloopers
Great vid but it needs an update after Javy’s play today
Wish they would have had the cubs cardinals where they threw and hit the guy like 3x or the brewers cubs where the guy stole 2nd ran back to first and then got thrown out on the next pitch
Wonder how ridiculously early or late a batter can swing at a ball and still have it count as a strike.
@thomasrovnak312
3 жыл бұрын
Early: as long as the pitch is in the air it's a strike. Batters can swing as much as they like before then, you see this all the time in the warmup swings. So the answer is the second the ball leaves the pitcher's hand (assuming its a legal pitch) the swing can be called a strike. Late: This one is harder and more subjective. Basically, any legal pitch can be called a strike. So a mere swing wouldn't be a strike if the umpire ruled he wasn't actually trying to strike at the ball. In practice if the pitch is far enough away for it to be considered as having gotten away from the catcher, then that's too late. So the answer is basically when the batter reasonably couldn't have a chance to hit the ball then its not a strike.
3:08 how is he out???
2:24 - When not having a coach would somehow be better.

I think any intent is intent, makes it so it's not a judgement call. But I feel it needs to be made in fair territory
@russellv6234
2 жыл бұрын
That's a textbook correct call. even twitching your shoulders towards 2nd is enough. Like a balk, its a technical call and it was correct.
@xapie128
Жыл бұрын
I agree. I was always under the impression that if you turned toward your left (i.e. toward 2nd) even if you went back to 1st base, then that could be "intent" but in this case the runner turned to his right (toward the stands) which to me showed no "intent" of wanting to go to 2nd.
Oh,Gomez tried to break his bat!!!! It's a poor musician who blames his instrument.
Hahaha Gomez couldnt break his bat.
Ozuna didnt square to 2nd
At 4:58 it shows how you can’t see anything when looking at first.

That’s why it’s an oddity
A menos que haya dos outs, el catcher debe dejar caer un foul lejos del home si hay corredor en tercera base. De lo contrario, comete un error muy básico.
Adhd got me like
Am I the only one who had a ball bounce of second and I dove for and it dicided to ruin my day
10:12 woah
to active baseball player never stop a throw it could blow your arm out
You are good
8:18 is funny
00:46 If I ever saw that cheesy swing after clearly taking it for a ball in youth ball, I would hope for an interference call, instead of just a strike, just out of principle.
@mehere8299
3 жыл бұрын
Batter has the right to swing at the ball - and yes, that was intended to interfere with the throw (and succeeded).
wow
So, what happened at 05:30? Was the ball dead? And the runners returned to the bag?

5:18 Was that ultimately ruled a run scored? The ref wasn't involved in the throw, the batter was in the box, I see no reason that's not the same as missing a catch/wild pitch.

firebirdude2, There was no reason to call time, the ball should have stayed live and the run should have scored
@whitlam05

Yes, it went to New York and they ruled the run scored. This was one of the most intense innings of baseball I've seen capped off with Bautista's home run and bat flip. 7th Innings Game 5 of the 2015 ALDS.

4:49 that’s Belts fault...
@Grahambhatt
3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes 1st baseman are told to play behind the runner, and this pitcher must have forgotten where belt was playing. It’s not his fault
@Xansby
3 жыл бұрын
The coach may have told him to play behind the bag, but the first baseman still has to communicate to the pitcher where he’s at. So Belt should’ve reminded him.
Can someone please explain 2:18?
