tbf, if ouch landed that dair on leo at 20:24-ish, he also would've died at 50 something percent. leo also died sub 100% multiple times in the set. nothing to complain about really

This match was more hype than all of top 8

For the past 2 years, every time Leo picked up Aegis as his main character both his results and the support from the community dropped significantly, and yet he still force himself the character despite several proofs that he could still be top 1 with Joker and Byleth. This somehow convince me that he's at a point where he just doesn't really care as much as before to keet that #1 spot, he does whatever he has more fun doing.

Looking at the most recent results, Leo’s only win (and at a P tier as well) is with Joker. All of Leo’s peak comes from Joker and Byleth. He has maybe a single major win with Aegis and besides that, he really doesn’t have the results for them at all. Not sure why he really wants to stick with them

For a split second you can see ouches DI line which was up and out for the downair but then he kept holding when the up smash him and died plus rage

Cool to know the smash community knows what Wong factor is

I have nothing against leo but pyra must be nerfed. This character can kill at unreasonably low percentages.

Do not forget Oryon for the wolf mains with great results, he still is something like top 7 or 6 in europe.

I'd say pyra and wolf are on equal footing. Wolf has good boxing tools and good off stage presence with lazer/nair and can kill more easily but P/M can just out combo/neutral/advantage wolf like a ton of other characters

I think you mean game 4 rather than game 1. And a hard read edgeguard back-air kill at 76% on a stage with shorter side blast zones is very different than a raw upsmash at 72% on a stage with a tall blast zone

Leo plot armor is legit the most boring shit in this game. I hate feeling so pessimistic because negativity kills enjoyment but the whole Leo plot armor thing lost its hype for me a long time ago. GG’s to both. It was a (mostly) entertaining set.

I hate anime swordfighters. Good on Leo tho.

I think is more about the char isn’t the same getting killed at 20% or 50% with a K.O punch or finishing touch that at least you gotta get some damage or charge before getting that ability unlike Pyra that can do that up smash set up every single time and always will kill too early. But a win is a win not trying to say Leo isn’t great
