That made me so happy to see him stay on top - with Byleth(?!)

Everything about Mkleo is crazy. Winning against the best mexican player at age 8, The 0-2 comeback statistic, the clutch factor, the luck factor, the insane adaptation, winning so many tournaments with so many different characters. At some point you'd think he wouldn't be able to get away with this but he just does it and with so much style. He makes that number one spot really mean something. What a god.

Even if he isn't undisputed as ZeR0 was, I think they're both at the same GOAT level in their own games. Leo might have been beaten, but he plays much less optimal characters with a much riskier playstyle (although Zer0 wasn't exactly defensive, at all), so that makes them even for me. Both are way above anyone else, which is a truly great thing to witness.

MKLEO is the smash God. Literally makes people in times look like rookies. A few shield breaks and a good amount of 0-death against top players. And you love to see him destroy the wifi warriors irl tourneys

Probably not, in terms of results. Zero had a 54 winstreak, and Leo's days are numbered by Spargo just existing, he said it himself.

The level of competition in Ultimate is way higher than it was in Smash 4. What Leo has done in Ultimate, I feel, is much more impressive than what Zero did in Smash 4.

@@101academics The comment was about "level of dominance", the relative scale of competition isn't really relevant. Mkleo is the undisputed best of all time in SSBU, but relatively, ZeRo dominated SSB4 to a greater extent than Leo dominates SSBU.

@@SealingWG I understand what you're saying but that's only because the level of competition was nowhere close to Ultimate. When the Smash 4 scene was bigger, near the end of its life, Zero was nowhere close to being dominate and that showed most of us all we needed to know. If you took the Zero of Smash 4 and put him in Ultimate he wouldn't even be top 10. It showed when he played in some tournaments in Ultimate and was get wrecked and then called it a day because he knew what was up.

If there was an undisputed #1 badminton player that literally never dropped a single tournament in his life, he'd be RELATIVELY more dominant than Lebron James, even though the level of competition in basketball is magnitudes higher. ZeRo dominated SMASH4 more than Leo dominates ULTIMATE. The "level of competition" is entirely irrelevant to the discussion.

Well you can’t exactly win by pitying someone. Leo captured the moment and didn’t hesitate to hit the spike, allowing him to get away with so many things that other Byleths tend to not go for.

Man i really wish ultimate was a little bit better as a spectator sport. Leo is a beast and I love his byleth

Do you mean the GameCube shaped Switch Pro Controller? Or applying a GameCube controller C-Stick to a normal Switch Pro Controller?

Leo needs to bring back Byleth. Everyone wanted the Joker back but I think Leo did right dropping that character. His Byleth dominates way more than his Joker. He didn't even make top 10 in the list this year. It's pretty much guaranteed he's back in top 10 if he brings back Byleth.

He didn't play badly, he just made one mistake at the end by jumping on stage when he was in disadvantage. If he went for the ledge instead it would have been different

Just don’t forget byleth is actually hunter from monster hunter, it was reskinned because capcom didn’t want MHrise to be exclusive to Switch

@@sherg5613 well I instantly knew it was hunter because of byleths animations they look exactly like hunters, add it all the weapons byleth uses it’s all hunter weapon reskins, another clue is there’s a monster hunter stage and I also believe there’s a mention somewhere where they say byleth was actually going to be hunter

She's like one of the ugliest Fire Emblem female designs, and there are a whole fucking lot of them throughout the franchise. Boobs and dressing like a hooker are not everything; her face/hair design is as dull as it gets. Male Byleth is better, though still kind of dull.
