For some groups, the school approves one or two companies for spirit wear and so our school for example cheer, dance, and guard have very similar uniforms because we order from the same company

Our school color Guard does pep band for basketball and football half time with the band and pep rallys

Those are a kind of flag you can order of starline baton company. They are a lot less common and a lot more complicated. My school specializes in these ones. Its difficult to learn because there are no tutorials. The performance in this video was just basic. You can tell they focus on color guard.

Aislinn Vasquez The fact that people use short flags wouldn't make me depressed, since it could be extremely cool during marching bands, the problem is the way this school treats their guard as a pep squad. That's not what guard is. Leave that to cheer. Guard is a proud and elegant art, giving personality and life to the marching band's music, and seeing the school take that and simplify it to this, is honestly depressing as hell.
