Nice one. My dad & later on i myself owned a 1983 vauxhall cavalier 1.6GL in china blue same colour as this. Owned it from 1986 to 2000. Great memories in that car. HUB 660Y.

I had one - China Blue I beleive the colour was. Same spec as this. So lovely to see one again. It was my favourite car.

nice result i had the 1.2 boot version best car and my favourite car they handled so well on the road so nice to see one restored and restored to a high standard so wish i had the money as i do miss the astra and not many about now

@@lukedavison11 well it definately is worth every pound i just wish i had the cash as its a very nistougic car in my eyes and you sure have put in time and energy in to making that classic car great again

nice restoration luke, it seems a never ending job chasing rot but the end result is worth all those hours spent working on it .... well done

do you want another to do? MK2 13gl. first registered 19.10.84 it was at the dealership MK2 launch event. almost certainly the oldest survivor. barn find condition.
