You are mistaken about this one, Kung Lao from mk11-mk1 is nowhere near the wise master Kung Lao from mkx

I hope to see more of Madam Bo in the future.

I've never thought Madam Bo can regard Smoke as the teahouse protector just like what Liu Kang ordered him.

At 0:52 thats what Bo Rai Cho also said at one of the MKX dialogues with Kung Lao n Liu Kang.
