Im strictly using Lao Kameo with Sub, i know a hunch of pros are on that Sareena neutral but I'm bout the Snowballin with HTB Vortex. All i need is one touch then that 30% with a HTB equals 60% into another forced HTB for 90% into 8% chip. Abd these HTB's breaks wakeup armor, beats: wakeup jump, wakeup Backdash, wakeup buttons. Only thing that evades it is Delay Wake-up and the delay time doesn't give them a punish it just makes you mistime a meaty so you can delay on wiff into a Throw/Strike mix on delay wakeup which they only have one option: block what you're slsppin in their face and you can do B3/B2/Throw/2xxBackdashxx21 or F1 Backdash instant air divekick on their inevitable mashing. Lai also gives him 44% one bar off B2 being a true 50/50, you do it 1 frame part mixing low hat hitting first or 1 frame after overhead (B2) and there will be HTB protection so if they guess first hit right it auto blocks BUT if they guess wrong you get 44% 1BAR into HTB Vortex if you time it right. Lao also gives him decent zoning with BF2, DF4 and reactionary divekick. Then Lai gives him teleport and a invulnerable Armored Reversal to blow up gaps and even combo launcher/extender when delayed the teleport also gives meaty jumpin on wakeup and Armored corner escape

Utilities are definitely a thing to consider when choosing a kameo I don't disagree that lao is definitely one of the best if not the best kameo in this game currently I use sareena for the ease of use and her ability to take meter guaranting no breaker. But that teleport you mentioned has gotten better do to the small buff from last patch that gave you a quicker teleport after ice clone. @@maskoftiers77788 I'm jus tryna ng to get you on the SubZero/Lao train 🚂 cuz it's definitely strong. Disclaimer any SubZero tech I share will not and should not be nerfed. Why? Because Sub Zero is unique in the way that he is Punishable on Everything he does including HTB setups! His HTB is punishable because his B2 overhead has a spaced out high on second hit that is -23 on block and to make it safe you need to have hat hit like 16+ frames after the overhead completely removing the HTB part of the mix. Sindel, Lao, Tanya, Raiden all have unreactable HTB/50-50's that are completely safe when blocked correctly. Not Sub though

Im glad you said w distance bc most johnnies use their basic mix up combos until they get you in the corner and from there they block then duck and poke as you showed but in corner its alot harder to punish and then get out of the corner without taking a full combo and even then youre still in the corner 😂 johnny just the best up close fighter

These are facts im doing a follow up on countering Johnny's 9 frame mid to stop it but it requires you to be mid screen in the corner he can just mash to his hearts content as you said he is the best close up fighter we have right now.

That d be interesting a tuto abt backdashing on hit/block according if your opponent is poking or not.. because i understand frames data.. but i m not sure i m using wave-dash correctly at neutral
