His lateral and vertical movements at the age of 35 is amazing. Bron vertical still crazy at 35, but his lateral is slowing down. MJ still got it at 35. #MJGOAT

Hmm...never thought about that. You’re right, LeBron’s vertical is still great but his lateral movement isn’t as good which is why his defense has gone down. MJ was the opposite-vertical decreased but lateral was still great so he was still great defensively.

Lebron has lived his entire career being able to just charge into the lane because its basically illegal to play defense. Jordan had to be crafty to get around people. Especially when he got older.

Michael Jordan, in the 1996=1997 basketball season you made my father very happy. He died in May of 1997, but before that he was struggling with some very serious health problems. Because of you and your drive in baseball, my father was able to get through a very difficult time in his life. Thank you. Your Chicago basketball team experience, your family losses, and your ability to walk your path out in our gaze.......more helpful and uplifting than you might not have noticed. I love living in this world because you are a part of it. Blessings to you and your family.

In every single highlight here, Michael Jordan was 35 years old. Most guys are out of the league by then. But Michael, he was winning: •League MVP • All Star MVP • A Championship • Finals MVP •First Team All Defense • First Team All NBA He also in the final minutes of his bulls career had one of the clutchest steals ever along with a shot so good we don't even need to specify when referring to it because it was "the shot" . Michael Jordan was truly the greatest player ever to play this game and we'll never see someone of his likes ever again.

@@thesofa.4194 actually, when he came back from retirement 94-95 season (when the 3pt line was shorter), he shot 50%... Then 42% the season after.... So he definitely worked on his game. The 10 seasons before that wasn't good which made his overall stats pretty bad.

I remember going to watch Jordan play a game against Cleveland when he was on the Washington wizards. He didn't seem to do anything spectacular and nothing flashing. Almost seemed like he wasn't even really playing, except by the end of the game he had 26pts. He just gets it done.

I use to be able to dunk like it was nothing. I am 34 going to be 35 this year...When I just look at a hoop my legs hurt 😂😂. When you reach the age of 34 and see how Mike was still so athletic you realize just how great he was...Not just him but any pro athlete still performing at a high level in their mid 30s. 30s is that age where you have to work extra hard to maintain ahtleticism. Teens I could come off my couch and dunk like nothing...20s I had to warm up before I could do it...30s I can no longer do it LOL.

At the same age, LeBron had stopped playing defense and was pushed to defense by teammates who are 15 years younger. You have to imagine that, no one would have had to push a Michael Jordan to run because he always has the best defense on the court. And nobody would have dared to touch a Michael Jordan and just push him. But with LeBron it is possible.
