How the hell do you stop someone that fast?!? I played a decent level of football (soccer) when I was younger and though I was skillful and pretty quick the one thing you can never ever stop is flat out speed of movement and speed of thought which Michael had in abundance.. Someone who shows you the ball then the next second they are gone! He really must have been frightening to play against cause he had everything.

@@clydetheglidetop5sgtop10du7 I agree with your comment. But this may be of interest to you: Jordan's hands were in fact *larger* than 7 + footers hands. His hands were ENORMOUSLY large. NBA scouts and the combine keeps track of two hand size measurements: 1. thumb to pinky (hand stretch). 2. wrist to tip of middle finger. Ideally, scouts want #1 larger (for ball control / palming) and #2 smaller (for dribbling / shooting touch). MJ had ENORMOUS #1 measurements and (relatively) smaller #2. His hand size and shape is ideal for basketball. People reference MJ's "huge hands" but I don't think most REALLY realize how huge. Jordan's hands are **WAY** bigger than Kobe or Lebron's. His hands are noticeably bigger than Kawhi's and although Shaq's is larger (taller) than Jordan's... on the measure that you want big (#1), Jordan's hands are nearly an inch larger ie wider than Shaq's. Jordan's ENORMOUS #1 numbers enabled the one handed rebounds & catches / in-air ball control / fake-out passes and 'baseball' throws that you did not see from others in his day and will not be seeing from anyone today. They asked Phil Jackson to compare Kobe and MJ: Phil went straight to hands "well Michael had those HUGE MITTS for hands."

I'll leave what I wrote anyway but sorry about that. ---- I wrote down some informative and not typically discussed shit. The architecture of the hand is interesting: how the size & shape directly effect the the game is too. This is a Jordan video: discussing a BIG factor in what made his game unique is too. your response was basically, "actually Lebron has big hands. But thanks for the info..." By that, I'm reminded why I avoid befriending phlegmatic types. 😊 Also: no, Lebron does not have large hands: his hands are 'average' (+ 4%) for players in his position (9.25" wide). By comparison Kahwi Leonard's is 11.25" wide, MJ's is 11.75" wide. For all time great players (another category Lebron is in) he has 'small' hands. His hand width is smaller, for example, than 2-guard Kobe's.
