In asia here there's more detail with retailer and mizuno itself, only the vamp is real leather, the rest of the boot is synthetic because mizuno states that the quick turns in small sided games requires more structure rather than plushness. Btw you're right, going down half a size in this boot(compared to nike) is a must.

@@haltsboots nothing any other boot enthusiast wouldn't have done. Btw the synthetic on the indoor version is actually 'cheaper' compared to the Morelia Neo fg boots, cause the bf synthetic on the fd models are too soft and flexible for small sided games and mizuno states it's not optimal for performance. So in order to cope with the 'thicker and stiffer' synthetic on the indoor version they tweaked the shape and padding to make it one of if not the most anatomical indoor shoes ever. Due to this reason here in asia even low class amateur player loves these indoors for the comfort and sculpted feel on feet.

only the forefoot is k leather. i went up half a size cos i have proper wide feet. the front lip will not stretch hence it is dangerous to go true to size or god forbid, half a size smaller for people with wide feet (if you went true to size or half size smaller in these, you dont have wide feet!). lastly, there is a model that tops this, the MIJ version (you can recognise it by the stitching on the forefoot, where it is cross-stitched rather than this copa mundial like stitching pattern).

I have really wide feet (3 or 4E) and got two pairs. True to size and half size up. True to size fits well on my left but is painfully uncomfortable on the right. I was wondering if it would stretch at the toes so thanks for this comment. Don’t wanna injure myself. Unlucky for me I’m left footed so I guess I’ll just have to deal with the dead space on the left foot, but beats getting hurt I suppose!

@@FUT_92 yes indeed not worth it to get injured so I let go of my true to size and went half size up. Best decision ever. I'm similar to your case but for me is slightly smaller right feet and bigger left feet and I'm right footed. So I also have to deal with the dead space but it's well worth it than to have purple toes

@@FUT_92 yes they do. After using it for 10 games, I find that it has stretched like 5% wider so I had to use thicker sock on my smaller right foot to have the same lockdown

i have the sala elite TF and only the forefoot is k-leather. the sides where the mizuno logo is , is synthetic. the same material used on neo 4 non-beta midfoot. i assume the Indoor version is the same. i personally think this is helping with overstretching of the material and it gives the boot a bit more structure than pure k-leather would

Honestly it’s hard to tell, in hand it feels all leather but it could be synthetic, just so hard to get any real info! Thanks for sharing!

This is correct, the turf and in boots are made with faux leather roughly about all of the rear half. There is a stitch line around the tail of the logo, everything past it is not leather. Mizuno has stated that the reduced traction in IN and turf, in comparison to fg puts more strain on the upper during change of direction. All Mizunos elite boots are not made in Japan so therefore they are not hand-made.

Thoughts on Joma Top Flex or Nike Lunargato 2? I wear both for 10 years now, I think they could compete with this.

i had a pair of the morelia sala japan tf and i have the same sizing issue like you. I think going half a size would feel better if you lilke the boots just tight but u might just be better off having more space than none tbh.

I just got the Morelia sala Japan tf but I went half a size down and I feel true to size would’ve been better for me. I got the Morelia Neo 4 pro as Tf and half a size down is perfect on those for me. I hate Mizuno sizing lol

Would they fit better on a narrow or wide foot?

in my opinion you shoulda done a bit more research before this video. stating there arent any leather indoor boots when Joma pretty much makes nothing else was quite the statement.
