दोनो भी बुजुर्ग और महान गायक, एक युवा तो दुसरे जेष्ठ, दोनो के घराने अलग अलग, इस कारण दोनो की गायकी अलग अलग हैं, स्वरलगाव और पुरी शैली अलग अलग हैं. इतना होने के बाद ये ऐसी जुगलबंदी होती हैं,मतलब ये हमारे शास्त्रीय संगीत की देन हैं जो आपस में प्यार, इज्जत और मोहब्बत और साथ साथ जिम्मेदारी भी सिखाती हैं, इस दोनो महान कलाकार के साथ हमारे शास्त्रीय संगीत को भी प्रणाम.जो लढना नहीं बल्की जुडना सिखाती हैं.

One jackpot is GREAT but TWO together ........ cannot ask from more.... like the last generation handing over to the next......

Time when cable tv started creeping into many households of the cities , we were blessed to have dooradarshan only till 2001 or so. This jugalabandi program was orchestrated by none other than ustad vilayat khan saheb - he didn’t try to highlight his sitar expertise (which could also have been a feast). But he created a platter of Indian classical singers and came up with jugalbandi of many pillars of classical music of that time. This episode was aired sometime around 1996-97 and I’m blessed to listen it on tv on same day. God bles dooradarshan, god bless such programs and god bless KZread ..

It`s very special moments to hear the senior & junior legends in jugalbandi...like this...

I'm blessed to have listened to this bandish. Thanks to Nitish Bhardwaj ji aka Shri Krishna from Mahabharat who mentioned singing, about his mother who was a trained classical singer. Then the interview goes till discussing about Miyan Ki Todi, Raag Shivranjani, Raag Bhairav and so on. Instantly, my passion for music woke up. Unfortunately, I could never pursue my hobby as a singer as I always wanted to learn music or sing correctly per say. I searched for these Raagas and listened to them and they were absolutely soul touching.Thank you Doordarshan and KZread❤🙏 Jai Guruji ❤️ Shukrana Guruji ❤️

I have live seen Pandit Bhimsen Ji and Ustad Zakir Hussain. One of the very rare performance. Though individually I have heard them both several times. I was lucky enough to watch live Ustad Allah Rakha and his three sons at one event at Rang Bhawan on the occasion of Guru Poornima

Panditji is singing after his operation for brain tumour...and still such singing and energy...🙏🙏🙏

People used to tell taansen had the kind of gayaki which can litrelly freeze or hypnoyize you . I sometime wonder how he sounds actually. If i get the opportunity to travel through time , my first priority would be recording the voice of taansen
