I went to Miyajima, one of Japan's top three scenic spots.
The blinding blue sky and ocean, with the green mountains in between, make for a stunning sight. People-friendly deer greet tourists.
The food is delicious, made with locally produced and harvested oysters.
There are various dishes such as fried oysters, oyster udon, and oyster rice bowls. Soda, mojitos, and cider with lemon from Hiroshima are also recommended.
If you're looking for a souvenir, get the Momiji Manju set.
