Bubby sang them! I mix backgrounds a bit different but there's no generated harmonies or anything like that :)

Yes, any of the Waves compressors will work just set up the sidechain input

What preamp get for Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO 250 ohms? I use Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 audio interface and I want to buy preamp cuz they're too silent for me.

Damn so with Studio Rack you can put everything on one and just blend it in? Like l can have a reverb, delay, doubler, chorus, etc all in one? it will still sound clean?

Yep! If you set it up like we did here on an aux track and send to it, the splits can have whatever FX you want and blend to taste 👍

Sean, I noticed that you have been wearing these headphones for some time and I can't figure out what they are. Is it the Sennheiser HD 25? Do you mix on these headphones?

Ooo ok I sold mine and got the dangerous compressor hardware I also have the api5500 and neve orbit for color the only thing I like about the ssl was the stereo width

side chain compression in studio rack aint workin for me, i followed the steps exactly. anyone have any idea?

Shoot man , anytime I have four or more layers , logic crashes or I get the cpu over load - using a Touch Bar MacBook 16”. It’s been the worst machine I’ve had so far - I don’t recommend to anyone using logic or pro tools

I remember my first time learning side chain delay - I was amazed haha! For anyone discouraged, stick with it ! You’ll be surprised how much you progress...
