Mixing Corn and Soybeans in a Food Plot - Why?!

First and foremost if you're wanting to maximize your crop yield this isn't the mix you should try. But! If you're wanting to diversify your plot this might be a good option. Looking for a way top screen your food plot but also provide food? That's how we're utilizing this blend, to help breakup the views from a nearby gravel road looking into this plot.
At about 80 pounds of soybeans and 7 pounds of corn per acre this plot is going to provide plenty of forage this winter for the wildlife.

My area ran a great crop this year with about 15lb/ acre corn had a mix of a beans and forage beans combined. I'd up your rate of corn for plot breakup and windbreak for the wildlife
