Good morning Gayle & friends! YT Crew are you getting as much inspiration as I am from these stamping sessions? OMGoodness! The best part is my usual imperfect stamping goes well with grungy! 😂 The stamp set with the “paid” circle stamp, had a stamp in the upper left corner that looked like a police badge. That’s been added to my “look through your stamps for….” List! The last set I created I did some coffee rings because I’m a klutz and if I was the clerk making your ID, it’d probably have spills! And that last mushroom stamp, gave me the idea of stamping on guest checks and time cards or other pieces of our ephemera that look like old documents! So many ideas - I’m going to have to cancel some appointments cause I’m going to be too busy playing! thanks Gayle so much for this, it is so fun! I hope you feel better soon. That’s so cool that you got that Butte, Montana stamp. My mother was born in Butte, 2 1/2 miles south east of the racetrack. I probably told you the story before but one time when my mother and father were driving across the northern route to Minnesota they stopped at a gas station in Butte and asked an old guy if he knew where there was a racetrack and he said he thought there used to be an old dog track at one time. I looked it up and there’s a copy of a newspaper from Butte 1912 talking about races at the racetrack but didn’t say where it was, but also there’s a place called Racetrack, Montana and her birth certificate says 2 1/2 miles SE of Racetrack not from “the” racetrack. It’s supposedly north of Anaconda. My mother was born in 1912 so whatever kind of farm she was born on is probably long gone. I have some vintage stamps I need to do this to. I’ve heard that if they get kind of hard and brittle if you just soak them in some glycerin it helps soften up the rubber. I was going to put some glycerin on a paper towel and just stand them all up, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Glad your heaters back on, ,.,., hot tea with lemon and ginger, is my go to when I have a cold. I have ordered some stamps to do ID cards, I haven’t had time to make them yet, but after watching you today I’m intent on taking a few minutes and do a couple. I’m glad you’re doing some stamping, I too forget about my “drawers” of stamps 🤦‍♀️. Take care of yourself, don’t over do it. 😘

OMGoodness Gayle, I 🙏🙏🙏 prayed that you wouldn't get sick. I think it's wonderful that you try to please everyone but not at your own expense. My experience with getting older has taught me that its even more important to take care of yourself. You didn't say if your using your heater again, I sure hope so. I'll pray that you recover quickly. You don't deserve this for sure. I 💕 💕 💕 these ID tags. I ordered the photos so I can make some. And like I suggested I'm going to put a thumb 👎 print on mine. Gayle, you are the only one I know that can take a stamp that hasn’t been used in nearly 90 years and make it work perfectly. Those stamps must have known who was using them.😂 I love everything you made. When the heater was off and you were cold I said she is going to have a cold. Keep your heat on, sweetie. For large stamp sets, try sliding them into an 8 1/2 x 11 page protector. They can then be put In a bin or binder for storage.

Love these larger ID tags/cards. I am going to make one for my Uncle, use his birthdate for the stamp. Maybe family tree on the back with a childhood photo. Great birthday card for an artsy man.(him) for Matariki. Down here it's Matariki {Winter solstice} and is a time to gather with family and reciting our whakapapa [family tree] & where each family came from. Manawatia o Matariki. A time of remembrance and a fresh start. It's 13 degrees C here 55 in Fahrenheit. Ahh New Zealand at winter solstice - come visit and see our gorgeous stars {Pleiades}. 🌟

You can stamp a small swatch of each color and tape or glue it to the side of each stamp pad so that you will see the colors instead of digging through all of them. I have done that and it saves time. Just an idea. Love all your videos ❤

Hello Friend! I do believe you’ve been struck with the new stamping virus….🤣🤣🤣! I’m so sorry you’re battling a cold but I think the stamping virus is even more contagious because I have it too…lol! I love stamping so much and I’m so happy you’ve been enjoying it so much now too. You’re exactly right the Versafine Clair ink pads are a game changer. I’ve been using mine for the past 8 years and love them. The Versafine Clair are also great for a larger sized stamp to ink up since they stay wet longer so by the time you ink the whole large stamp it doesn’t dry before you have time to stamp it. It’s what Abs at AALL&Create has always recommended especially for their large A4 size stamps. I just love your clusters and ID cards…so cool! I know I could sit and stamp pieces for ephemera all day. Also if you don’t own the stamp set from Creative Expressions called “Passport” by Taylor Made Journals it’s a great one too for the ID cards. Elizabeth Craft Designs just released some fun stamp sets with travel themed stamps and one called “Passport” as well that I adore. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Thanks for the great inspiration and please do more stamping videos like this in the future. Hugs 🥰

I’m glad you’re using your heater again. Crafting while cold is no fun. As others have said, I never hear the heater unless you call attention to it when you turn it on or something. As the saying goes in the stamping community: inky fingers are a sure sign that you've been having fun. The inker the better, they are a stampers version of a badge of courage a.k.a. fun! That goes for your stamp mat too. Goodness if only that person could see some of my well used, well loved stamping supplys. If you aren't getting ink on your stuff you ain't having fun. BTW, I hate to break it to you but you my friend have been bit by the stamping bug, happens to the best of us. As for the heater, my problem is jealousy, TX is hot, hot, hot already. Hi Gayle. I’m a bit behind on your videos, but that’s okay, I’ll catch up. Those mushroom stamps are so pretty. I hope you feel better soon, and I’m sorry that someone even suggested that you should turn off your heater. Prayers and lots of liquids. ❤😊

I don’t notice your heater until you turn it off, and that’s the honest truth. I do hear the vacuuming upstairs, but that never bothers me one bit either, cause I can still hear what you’re saying and that, after all, is the most important thing. Stay warm in your basement, let Emily vacuum, and be happy😊 You know, ever since all this started about your heater, I’ve been feeling so bad for whoever complained about it. Imagine how she must feel, seeing all our comments about it on the last few videos. It just makes me feel so sad for her! I’m weird like that, and I’m most probably the odd one out here. If I’ve made a “mistake” like that, and so many people point it out, I feel awful for having made it. But then again, who knows how she feels, maybe it has just made her mad (in which case I don’t feel so sad☺️) Either way, hopefully she learned something.

Total fun! I thought filling that whole card might be hard but you did an awesome job Gayle! Have you ever tried hand sanatizer on tor stamping blocks? I have a bottle just for my desk also cleans Matt up beautiful too! Do not recommend using on anything rubber as I think alcohol dries out and cracks rubber. Just a quick tip…free of charge! 😂thanks!
