I purchased my upgrade from 8 Pro Studio to version 9 about 8 weeks ago, and it is fantastic. I'm no power user and probably don't use half the functionality it offers but as a user from about version 3 or 4, I'm a big fan. I am always amazed that so-called 'top 10' type lists of DAWs mostly neglect to mention Mixcraft at all. Perhaps they don't like any program that offers loops. Compared to many of those other over-priced programs out there, Mixcraft not only has better features, but offers significantly better value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone who will listen...

@@bigbro4266 Yes, all my VST's worked, though in the past I did have to tell Mixcraft where some of them were as they weren't in the standard locations Mixcraft scans when prompted. This time I took the opportunity to put them all in those more standard VST folders and all work without issue.

BUY 9 PRO.its worth getting the top acoustica has to offer,trust me the plugins you get with it and the actual daw,is well worth it.

I love Mixcraft! Been using it since mixcraft 5. Thank you Acoustica for creating the best D.A.W and studio recording software on the planet. Mixcraft has come a long way! You guys are awesome! Been using Mixcraft ever since I started Highschool; this is the biggest update I've seen personally that makes me want to upgrade straight away. Kudos to you guys, this is great stuff! Appreciate your hard work on this DAW and looking forward to continue using it for my future projects and career.

TO ACOUSTICA: i have not read all the comments below but just a few,but i got to say ive tried various daws in the past and mixcraft to me is the easiest to dive into even without any previous knowledge of daws,and have been using it ever since i have first tried it,i just cant go back to any other daw.it is awesome!to me its the best daw out there ive upgraded to 9 pro as soon as i got a notification that it came out,without even looking at the features before buying:)i just dont understand why it is not more widespread and known to the bigger audience.im trying to put my finger on why this is,maybe its the company itself:TO ACOUSTICA: for example the new version came out and by chance i found an email you guys sent me that i can upgrade from 8 to 9 cose you just released it..in that regard maybe more effort from acoustica to push new releases out there to be known more,using social advertising youtube etc.you guys have a great product but really need to focus on advertising it in a bigger way,you have something special here,take advantage of it and do more professional advertising.ALSO do more professional looking tutorials of your latest releases(ex. mixcraft pro 9).You really need to make full tutorials covering everything in the new mixcraft 9 ,use youtube here etc.theres not enough tuts on your latest updates.copy what the bigger companies are doing advertising wise and support wise and im sure you will really take off more than you are right now.people out there need to see your product!! anyway if acoustica read this i hope my 2 cents will help the company grow bigger,cose we users want to see mixcraft DOMINATE the DAW scene,will be good for the continuity of the company and for us users that dont want to use any other daw. Love the program! Got the upgrade recently and it is easy to see a million improvements. I really like the streamlined interface - big improvement. Mixcraft is not resting on its laurels. Highly recommended! I started with version 8 Pro after Cakewalk dived. Upgraded to Mixcraft 9 Pro. No regrets!!!!!

I've just upgraded to Mixcraft 9 Pro and like someone said below Mixcraft is HIGHLY UNDERRATED but is just so easy to navigate and use as a newbie especially. Maybe there's a TOP GUN DAW CONSPIRACY from the companies that charge 6 times more for their products 😂 When I bought Mixcraft 8 pro it was the very first DAW I'd ever opened where I knew where everything was and making beats was just so naturally easy to master. Mixcraft IMHO is better than quite a few big names IMHO and for the price as well who could ever complain ? Thanks Mixcraft, You're the BUZZ 🙃

@@bearbear2978 its up to you.every daw has its pros and cons.check them both out and see what fits you best.i prefer mixcraft due to it being the most user friendliest of all the daws Ive tried.i can dive straight into producing without the learning curve of the other daws.

I’ve been on 8 Pro for a while, I’m definitely ready for the upgrade

the drums on standard kits 1 and 2, have been mixed with EQ AND REVERB, how should we mix it when we use,, can we add another EQ again or we we should add compressor only ?

I've got Mixcraft 8 Pro and am trialling Mixcraft 9 and I have to say that it's a breath of fresh air and also it's so inspiring to open up the Demo with a really classy sound going on instead of the usual rah rah guitar and drums. I'll probably upgrade but I've bought Cubase 10 and Presonus one 4 Professional and Fl studio etc etc BUT Mixcraft is up there with a product that is really easy to use, full of top notch features, LOOKS FABULOUS and everything just flows so easy. One of my favorite DAWS and it doesn't get the justice it deserves. On top of that the Staff are REALLY down to earth, polite and easy going. All Kudos to Mixcraft \m/

I stopped upgrading a few years ago at pro 7. I'm impressed with this new look and some of the added features. Guess it's time to upgrade again. On a side note, what's the best Interface for Mixcraft? I've been using a Focusrite Scarlett 2in2 for years and it's done its job, but wondering if it's that device causing computer freeze ups and pops. or the computer itself. Other DAWs seem to run more smoothly for me.

Ok, convert audio to MIDI is easy. How do i convert MIDI, individual tracks, to audio? How do I print my tracks to audio to include my plugin sounds?

2:50 as someone who studies with an API 1608 (but i obviously dont have one at home) THIS is what I wanted. Something that resembles the "hardware" i know how to use, but without spending 40K

Started on Mixcraft 3 (currently on 6). Seeing those new EQ controllers is an instant purchase for me. Thanks to the new update, going to put a quite a few plugins to rest with this new version lol. Also had a lot of issues mixing down to WAV files in 6 (crashes, freezing, missing tracks or just plain ending up with a blank file). Hopefully it's fixed in 9!

Does the pitch automation only work on audio? I tried it on a midi clip and no line appears when I hover over it.

That is correct - its audio only. You can mix the midi down to an audio clip to get the same result, though. Right click on the MIDI Track and choose "Mix to New Audio Track". The original track will be muted if you need to change something and redo a pitch change.

I shall be upgrading from 8 shortly.....Best DAW out there. Never had a problem and the guys always answer any questions. MC online university is also the best!

Something I have struggled with Mixcraft is plugin latency with certain plugins, does it even have automatic delay compensation on send tracks/submix tracks? even with really low latency settings on ASIO drivers, my rendered out tracks will always have a delay. I also have Reaper and I don't face this problem over there, and my brother uses Studio One 4, no problems on that DAW too. I really love Mixcraft, this is the most user friendly DAW in my opinion but if I don't find a solution to this problem, I might have to force myself to make a switch.

@@JosephClarke21 I have tried this on the Slate Digital Virtual Tape Machine, Ozone's Vintage Tape, A lot of Softtube's plugins like the FET compressor, there are a couple more plugins I face this problem with, basically I can't do any parallel compression on my drum tracks. I tried searching the forums and some users have reported this problem. I'll contact support.

i used mixcraft 6 for a long long time, and never upgraded because for some reason, mixcraft 6 had the best envelope automation. at 0:59 you show automation points under the track . In mixcraft 6 i could do this sort of automation very meticulously within the sound file, with lots of different drop points. When i tried later versions of mixcraft, doing lots of micro automations felt very bad and glitchy. i am wondering how mixcraft 9 feels.

You have a truly addictive product. I fully believe in it. I tried everything available and nothing feels as good as Mixcraft. Keep working on bugs and stability because the features are there. Mixcraft has the potential to take on any DAW and not just for beginners.

Any thought on mix craft vs Reaper?

i've started to get into Mixcraft pro 9 just lately I have Studio one as my main daw, but i find Mixcraft to be very easy to use, feature loaded, and the sound is really just as good as other daws contrary to belief! there is such a snobbery about what software people use to make music. a piece of music is only as good as the person that does it imo. and the price for what is on offer is brilliant too!

Can it do the 808 slide trick ?

How about a detailed vid about how to use Kontakt (multi timbral in one instance) with MC 9 ? I've worked out how to use it to get one instrument in KT but when I want a second instrument I click the tiny keyboard (in MC) and I have to use a second instance of Kontakt ! Help ?

I have a question. I love chopping up audio in mixcraft loops etc. I know I can save each individual chop in the mixcraft library. What Im asking is can i save my chopped audio outside mixcraft on my desktop in a seperate folder. Example chop up a pad sample into 4 parts can i save each part in the folder without having to save it as a mixcraft project. Thank you.

Hey there! To do that, you could chop up your loop, then set each chop to a separate track and export your project as stems, that way you can quickly bounce out all your one shots to create your own sample packs!

My god thank you. It works great. I have one last question. When the stems mix down my loop chops. When i play the stems the volume is very low I have to normalize them to bring the volume back up to how it was before i mixed down into stems. What am I doing wrong. I figured it out. I had the master fader turned down lower then the tracks I had the chopped audio. Once I put the master fader to 0db they came out exactly same level. Thank u thank u thank u. Months ive been stumped. Ppl dont realize how easy it is to chop loops up in mixcraft. Thank you 10x over.

I'm new to Mixcraft, I'm curious what is the difference between mixcraft 8 pro and 9 pro.

Hey guys, I use pro Studio 8. Lately I been recording other people and enjoying alot . But I need help with one issue. Every beat I make and save I can't seem to find once I go and open up project nothing there or even those beats I export and burn off to CD and they bring em back or even bring in a flash drive with a beat on it I can not seem to import any beats into the Daw so I can record someone or even my self and beats for me..jus disappear. Does anyone know how to help with that is there something I can or am doing wrong. It's my only issue.. it is by far my favorite music software and will always be.. thanks for ya time .

I am having problems exporting songs as no sound comes out and after that the mix i did has no sound either. Very annoying as I worked a while making the song. Never had a problem with Mixcraft 8.

Sorry for my English! Does Mixcraft 9 support Korean now? I'm using 8 pro studio and it perfectly supports Korean. But when I tried Mixcraft9 trial version a few months ago, It didn't support Korean well. Every words was seen like %%%#&&&. I think maybe there were some problems with language patch file. That's correct! You can arm as many tracks as you'd like at once. So, you could track a full drum kit in one go!

What i like the most about mixcraft is you can do all things with a single cursor.... In other daws you have to select different tools for various actions.. The worst thing about mixcraft is adding and searching third party plugins It lacks the main catogery for each plugin you install from various devolepers like other daws have this option...

If you need to organize your plugins, you can always create collections! That can be done under file > manage plugins, in the 'collections' area! So, you can use that to group together your plugins however you'd like!

Hey there! There are some arpeggiated preset sounds in Mixcraft's library, as well as synths that offer an arpeggiated mode! However, there isn't currently an arp effect that can be inserted on any track. We can certainly add that to the suggestions list though!

Can't tell which is better, Mixcraft 9, FL Studio 20 or Reason 11. They all are great DAWs and I have them all installed on my computer.

And that is Mixcraft 9. I also have Magix Music Maker 2020 and Roland Zenbeats as well. The Roland Cloud service for new and always evolving selection of synthesizers and other instruments gets me excited!

@@mcmike89 - Hi - I have Mixcraft 9, FL Studio 20, Reason 9, Pro Tools 2019, Reaper 6, Studio One 1, Cubase 10, Ableton ?, Magix Music Maker 2015. I'm going to try Mixcraft for a while, but I am wondering is there a way to edit more than one track at a time via editor windows?

@@cathywilson1273 Oh wow, you must be a great music producer to have all of those music production software. I only have a handful of them. That's great, have fun experimenting what you can come up with. I'm not sure, maybe. I still need to see what Mixcraft has to offer myself. I just bought a copy for myself recently.

Mixcraft for recording, fl studio for electronic music production

I'm not into audio production, BUT, would pay 1 buck for the lowest tier be a good thing for a micro game developer?

I paid $30 for this and more via Humble Bundle. ^_^

Have used Mixcraft since version 2 and also Reaper the last couple of years, both great DAW's, however if your focus is on writing music and getting it out there (to be ridculed and rubbished) , rather than focussing on the tech side of things that gives me a migraine and anxiety attacks, (even more than my ex, who is "a brutta putana da non finire") Mixcraft lives up to the claim to be the muscians DAW..........and the DAW of the Revolution!

MIXCRAFT IS REALLY GREAT, BUT THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE COLOR FROM GREY TO BLACK.THE FONTS ARE DIFFICULT TO READ. MAKE THEM DARKER

My Mixcraft 8 Recording Studio (64-bit) is ok im satisfied :) For mixing mastering recording vocals and all when have Godd VST Neutron Ozone Blue cat audio and.....
