Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR FQ-340 w/ Turbo Anti-Lag: Accelerations, Launch & OnBoard!

Last Sunday I spent the afternoon recording a friend's Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 MR FQ-340, a special, improved and lightened Evo 8 with 345 hp and 435 Nm of torque.
The FQ-340 you see in this video has been tuned even more. The 4G63 engine, stroked to 2.3-liter, with an HKS GTII turbocharger has now two ECU maps:
-1.3 bar, it has 417 hp and 550 Nm of torque
-1.85 bar it's able to produce 470 hp and 600+ Nm of torque with anti-lag system. The car is also fitted with an HKS Super Drager exhaust and a launch control system.

Mitsubishi took worst decision they ever could in their history with ending production of Lancer thus Evolution... Although this video made my day, thanks for the upload.

@Kaya Schaublorenl: the EVO with the 4b11 engine were not selling enuff thus they ended. N they did not end the lancer still make lancer just gonna sell em for now in certain markets mainly asian. The SUBBIE still made they still second fiddle to EVO even though they not made an EVO since 2015.

TheMick26 I was lucky to have the tommi 6 and the 8 the evo 6 was way better in handling corners and track the evo 8 was faster on the straight but then the 9 came out Mivac was better but I never purchased it

Thanks Josh! Yep, corrrect. I merged the audio of my GoPro, placed on the rear bumper, with the one of a little mic I placed inside the engine bay. It wasn't even so near to the air filter ;D (to be clear, scene at 1:05. It was that space middle way between the "PIAA" sticker and the strut bar)
