----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WELCOME TO INTERCEPTOR.
Listening to the music of Mitch Murder is something that warrants you’re full attention. You don’t simultaneously wash your dishes or hang out with friends, NO! You close your eyes or you find somewhere with fresh air and a view to allow yourself to aurally experience the infinite landscapes and scenarios that Mitch presents to your eardrums. If you were born around the early 80’s, you're instantly hit with nostalgia with the smells and emotions of your childhood, but that’s just the start. One minute you may find yourself coming up on an enemies hideout with Mr.T and the rest of the A*team, the next minute you'll be speeding away on a stolen top-secret motorcycle with a microchip in your pocket. Soon enough the dark of the night vanishes as you land face first on the sands of Venice Beach, 1984. As far as the eye can see there's bikini babes, freestyle skateboarding, remote control cars and a new dance called break-dancing.
The b-boys popping moves create an atmospheric breakdown of all reality and suddenly you're thrusted into an 8-bit nintendo world and your arm has been rigged with a plasma blaster. Good thing you have your faithful robotic dog by your side. As the album concludes, the feels are endless as you round the last base and finally touch home plate to win the tournament in the 9th inning. Life slows to a halt as you see your crush in the stands. Your eyes lock, and before you know it you’ve spent hours that felt like minutes walking on the beach together and watching the sun set. As she tells you stories about her favorite music, her deadbeat dad and how you should run away together, the alarm on your calculator watch suddenly goes off. You glance down at your wrist and she and the world around her disappears, the ring of the watch morphs into the sound of your buzzing alarm clock flashing 8:00AM. It was all a dream… that is until the next time you listen to Mitch Murder’s “Interceptor”.

If/when Rockstar make a new GTA set in Vice city (In the 80's again) they need to get Mitch Murder to do the Full Musical Score on that game.

Wow, this is like nothing you guys have uploaded (at least that I've heard). These guys have done an exceptionally great job of capturing both ambient vibes and a cool 80's groove. This is awesome work!

This may seem a little ballsy to predict, but I think the 80's revival scene is going to be the next big music revolution that's gonna clear out the shit on the pop charts. This might seem like wishful thinking on my part, but I think in the next few years, we're gonna hear less Lil' Wayne and more Mitch Murder. Something's gotta give, especially after the horrible year in the mainstream music charts that was 2013.

SeanStrife A retro synth new wave revival is extremely unlikely, and i wouldn't want it to happen anyway, shit that goes mainstream will be so overdone and milked by music publishers, you will be sick of it too after a constant 1-2 years of it constant. (im already sick of it, i lived through the 80's) Much rather give mainstream music no mind, and listen to whatever.

So glad I found MADDECENT.
Awesome
This is nice
This is beautiful. I love my Deep House, Techno, DnB, Dubstep(British Dubstep preferred), Trance, Gabber, and etc. but having parents who listened to Disco and the melodic 4x4 synths of Cerrone , Didier Mourani, Giorgio Moroder this is so beautiful that this sound is coming back. I love it and it makes me ecstatic. Just give me a dance floor to dance on.
I've traveled back in time!
that cover art= too dope

Checkpoint!
Lisa Immordino Vreeland follows up her acclaimed debut “Diana Vreeland: The Eye has to Travel” with PEGGY GUGGENHEIM: ART ADDICT. A colorful character who was not only ahead of her time but helped to define it, Peggy Guggenheim was an heiress to her family fortune who became a central figure in the modern art movement. As she moved through the cultural upheaval of the 20th century, she collected not only art, but artists. Her colourful personal history included such figures as Samuel Beckett, Max Ernst, Jackson Pollock, Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp as well as countless others. While fighting through personal tragedy, she maintained her vision to build one of the most important collections of modern art, now enshrined in her Venetian palazzo.

I love how Daft Punk influenced this song. One of my favorite jams of his.
I get so much shit done when this song's on repeat.
is there any way to get this album cover in a png format?
what Herbert West does to this PC?
Molly will be snorted to this song ...and for that I thank you
Fucking gorgeous
TBH I heard someone in BattleBit Remastered Blasting it (kudos to you Kline) and had to ask what it was.
is this on an album of his?
i feel so Don Johnson right now.
MADDECENT puts out MITCH MURDER??????? RAVAGED SKIES PEOPLE~!
I need someone to help me with something: I'm almost obsessed with the album covers for these bands. What is the correct name for these? Now, I've found them before, but I can't properly construct the name to find other pictures like this one. There was a site that had hundred upon hundreds of them. You would see them in magazines, like an advertisement for a car, computer and it had that unique design to them. Sorry for the ignorance, here. :P

sometimes i've heard the style refered to as "neo-noir," as well as "futurism" with some qualifier as a prefix, such as "80's-futurism, reagan-futurism, arcade-futurism," ad infinitum. I've never had a easy time pinning that style or genre down myself. I see elements of it aplenty in paintings, music, games, and film, (Max Headroom, Hotline Miami, KUNG FURY, Far Cry Blood Dragon, GAMER, you could probably make a case for Justice) but I don't have a solid single one-word punchy category to throw that into. Best of luck to you....on your quest for knowledge...

New bass, old style. You and Nero should team up for a song or two!
This is my favorite track of the moment. By the way, I made a video of "Race Day" from the same album and I have loads of other 80's retro electro stuff on my channel. Check it out! :)
Got some Ace Attorney Investigation theme vibe to it.
ah the 80s

This isn't Vaporwave, though. There's a difference between Vaporwave and New Retro Wave. Vaporwave tends to rely more on samples whereas New Retro Wave is original compositions. Plus New Retro Wave tends to evoke the 80's while Vaporwave seems to lean towards the 80's and 90's and has more of a cynical edge to it.
colbert??
Uhhmm...I grew up with that 80's music...and frankly this is much much better! Let's not get too retro...there were a few 'classics' Chris Cross, J. Giles Band etc etc but liking new interpretations better...
