Beautiful playing!

That is beautiful. Gibson Les Paul in the hands of a master is unbeatable in sound. Anyone can't appreciate that solo needs hearing aids!

This is superb! So refreshingly beautiful to hear this and see a LP Standard NOT in the hands of of the more predictable Slash, Page etc....THIS is what Les Paul had in mind anyway, this sound. We need to see more Pauls used for jazz standards. Ulf Wakenius , I think, uses a Les Paul , a black one usually and he also gets a classic warm jazz sound. Sacha Distel used a LP Custom back in the 1960s and he got a fantastic jazz tone. I use my LP Standard for playing jazz all the time, used to use a Custom Les Paul 30 yrs ago.

Hi, great, how do you create this jazzy sound with a Les Paul guitar? Can you tell me about guitar and amp setup for jazz sound with a standard Les Paul guitar? I have a standard Les Paul but the sound that comes out is rock even without a distortion

Hi, thanks for the comment. Yes, it isn't super common to play jazz with the Les Paul. I don't know what other's opinions are on the versatility of Les Paul, but I use this guitar to play a variety of genres including jazz and rock. I've owned strat, tele, and Les Paul so far. Les Paul is def the go-to for jazz for me, at least among those three. Hope you find this helpful!

If I remember correctly, I adjusted both treble and bass to 5, with just a little touch of reverb. No effects pedals were used otherwise.

시청해주셔서 감사합니다 ㅎㅎ 이펙터는 따로 사용하지 않았어요. 앰프에 내장돼있는 리버브 조금만 넣어서 녹음 했습니다.
